World's Highest Paid Celebrity Couple

Top on the list of the world's highest paid celebrity couple according to Forbes is Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z. The duo were runners up on the list in 2011 but have taken a step further to top this year's ranking. Beyonce Knowles still collects big paychecks from old hits. Her new album went platinum in the U.S., not to mention her other ventures and endorsement deals, which all helped to bring her total earnings between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012 to $40 million.

Jay-Z isn’t far behind his wife and has made millions from Watch the Throne, his musical collaboration with Kanye West, and even more from the tour that followed. He also has some non-musical enterprises such as ad firm Translation and cosmetics company Carol’s Daughter and the result is $38 million that he has made in twelve months, putting the couple’s annual income at a whooping $78 million.

Coming second on the list are last year’s winners Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady hauling a total of $72 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Next up are the Beckhams with a total income of $54million

Fourth on the list with a total income of $45 per annum is Hollywood's favourite couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Last but definitely not the least is Will Smith and Jada Pinkett with a combined annual earning of $40 million.

Elton John Labels Madonna 'f***ing fairground stripper' In An Extraordinary New Interview

In his chat with Australia's Channel 7  on Sunday, John said (via ABC News) that Madonna's "career is over" and insulted her by saying she "she looks like a f---ing fairground stripper."

When asked about the diva, who's currently touring the world, John said, "Why is she such a nightmare? Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger cu--."

  

"If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record like Ray of Light, stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly," John continued. "But no, she had to prove that she was like ... and she looks like a f---ing fairground stripper."

He went on to complain, "She's been so horrible to (Lady)Gaga", who’s godmother to Elton’s son Zachary.

John previously slammed Madonna in 2004 after she won the Q Music Magazine for Best Live Act, saying, "Madonna, best f---ing live act? F--- off. Since when has lip-synching been live?"

Ouch!! I honestly feel for Madge now!! Elton, take it easy!!! Peeps what do you think about this feud? It's getting out of hand!

Nigerian Footballer Dies While Playing In Romania

A 21 year old Nigerian footballer Henry Chinonso Ihelewere died playing football in Romania yesterday. Ihelewere was playing  for CS Delta Tulcea, Romania second division club  against a local team known as FC Balotești when the incident happened. According to sources, Chinoso was already active on the pitch but after about 15 minutes, he collapsed and an ambulance was called to the scene. He could not be resuscitated for almost an hour after which the medical team  pronounced him dead.
What a waste of talent! R.I.P. Henry Chinonso Ihelewere!

The "Crazy in Love" singer recently posted this photo on her personal Tumblr page showing off her latest style. Bejeweled nails with the letters J and Z surrounded tiny faces of herself and Jay-Z with gold studs encircling each portrait.
