Seventh Day Adventist couple jailed for letting their five-month-old son die because they failed to get him medical care due to religious beliefs

The parents of a five-month-old boy who died from rickets after they neglected his care because of their religious beliefs were jailed today.
Seventh Day Adventists Nkosiyapha Kunene, 36, and his wife Virginia, 32, from Erith, Kent, who admitted the manslaughter of their son Ndingeko, received three years and two years, three months' imprisonment respectively. The couple admitted the charge at earlier hearings.
Mr Justice Singh, at the Old Bailey, said: ‘The secular courts of this country apply the secular law of the land. They do so equally to all who come before them. The law respects the right of everyone to freedom of thought and belief.
‘However the right to manifest one's religion is not absolute. It is limited in particular by the rights of others. The state has a particularly important duty to protect the right to life, especially when a young child is concerned.’

......
‘He was highly regarded in the church,’ counsel said.
A senior figure in the church had said that the couple’s views, as reported to him by police investigating the case, were perhaps the most extreme that he had ever encountered.
Mr Whittam said: ‘The reality is that had rickets been diagnosed earlier, and appropriate treatment given, there could have been a complete recovery, and therefore the death was avoidable.’
Nkosiyapha remains of the view that death was God’s will, counsel said.
Kerim Fuad QC, defending Nkosiyapha Kunene, said: ‘This court will rarely have before it such a gentle, humble and hitherto law-abiding peaceful couple.’
He said his client could be a responsible, adoring and essentially wonderful father. The attraction of a suspended custodial sentence, with a lengthy supervision requirement, was obvious.
‘The loss of their son haunts them, and will do, for the rest of their lives. They don’t expect that pain to pass.’
He added: ‘The covenant he (Nkosiyapha) had sworn with God blinded his objectivity and common sense.’
Nkosiyapha, who was working as a nurse at King’s College Hospital, did not reject medical treatment outright.
‘He simply believes that a large amount of modern medicine is procedural and formulaic. He believes medicines are given to patients without much thought as to whether they are appropriate to a particular case.’

6 Things That Might Be Causing Your Belly Fat

tape-measure-scale-apple.jpgWhat causes belly fat? Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones. You don’t have to watch your weight, you eat what you like, you brag about not having to work out, and you shake your head in pity at your chronically-dieting friends.
But if you’re like most people, you are very aware of your weight with its ups and downs, and every time a pair of jeans feels suddenly tighter you know deep down inside they didn’t shrink in the dryer.
Every day we make small choices that make a big difference to your weight. Because we hardly think about these small choices, the weight creeps up until it’s time for a full plan of weight loss action. Instead of waiting until it gets to that point, start spotting these six diet saboteurs that may be slowly but surely adding inches to your waistline.
Uninhibited Weekends
Researchers have found that people eat significantly more on weekends without even noticing it; especially on Saturdays when fat consumption is at its highest. Those extra weekend calories can quickly add up.
To avoid overindulging on the weekends, pay special attention to portion size and limit your alcohol consumption.  Alcohol is full of empty calories and it lowers your inhibitions enough to cause you to eat foods and amounts you wouldn’t normally.
Eating On the Run
Who hasn’t walked and scarfed down lunch at the same time?  When you’re in a hurry the first thing you sacrifice is usually time to sit down to a decent meal.  Eating on the run can cause you to eat too quickly for your body’s hunger and satisfaction signals to keep up.  If you take less than 20 minutes to eat a meal, you could be setting yourself up for cravings and overeating. To avoid this, sit down and slow down before you eat.
Plus-Sized Portions
Over the last 50 years, restaurant portions have grown out of control and so have our weights. We’ve become so used to the huge portion sizes that they seem normal now.  Cook at home instead of eating out and use a smaller plate for your meals.  Remember that half your plate should be filled with vegetables and one fourth with a lean protein.  If you must eat at a restaurant ask for a doggie bag before you eat and pack up the excess portion to avoid digging into too much food.
“Luxury” Coffee Shop Beverages
Your daily coffee supreme with the works from the coffee shop may be adding a significant amount of calories to your diet. Those specialty drinks can cost you about 370 calories and 15 g of fat. Instead, choose a regular coffee with two tablespoons of sugar and you’ll cut about 17,000 calories a year from your diet, which is almost 5 pounds.
A Dieting Mindset
Food is essential to live.  Food is not the enemy, and any diet that tells you otherwise is not good for you. Being stuck in the dieting mindset can cause you to go on a rollercoaster of losing weight just to stop dieting and put it back on.  Yo-yo dieting is bad for your health. It causes your body to slow down your metabolic rate and initiates cravings. To get to and maintain a good weight, you need to follow a balanced and nutritious diet.
Skipping Meals
Skipping meals is another way to wreak havoc on your metabolism.  Your body might store extra fat to prepare for other missed meals.  Instead of skipping meals, eat small nutritious snacks such as a handful of nuts or fiber rich cereal when you can’t get to a complete meal.  Try not to eat after 7 p.m. when your metabolism is at its lowest.

Michael Adebolajo, 29, was given a whole-life term, while Michael Adebowale, 22, was jailed for life with a minimum of 45 years - meaning he could be back on the streets by the age of 67. In extraordinary scenes, the two Muslim extremists yelled 'Allahu Akbar' and 'You (Britain) and America will never be safe' during their sentencing at the court in Central London. The British-born extremists mowed down Fusilier Rigby in a car before hacking him to death in the street in front of horrified onlookers near Woolwich Barracks in south-east London in May last year. PHOTOS: 9 Yr Old girl who eats, sleeps and plays with 30 reptiles including an ANACONDA and 12ft PYTHON....says she is "crazy" about SNAKES!

Little Krista Guarino is an expert snake handler despite being just NINE years-old.

The brave schoolgirl lives with a staggering 30 reptiles, including anacondas and a 12ft python at her home in Michigan, America.

She eats, sleeps and plays with the creatures – some of which are twice her size - and held her first snake when she was just TWO.

The plucky schoolgirl has even been bitten a few times but none of the snakes are venomous and Krista claims the bites don't even hurt!

She said: “I’m never afraid of snakes, not even a little bit. I’m crazy for them.”

Krista, the eldest of three children, was first introduced to the animals by dad Jamie, 33, who is a snake specialist.

He said: “Snake was one of her first ever words.

"I knew when she was very little that they were going to be her passion.

“From an early age she wasn’t like a normal kid – she wasn’t afraid of snakes at all.

"She just wants to go up and grab them and pet them and play with them.”

During the summer holidays Krista helps Jamie out at their local reptile house and shows no fear when playing with, training or handling any snake.

She even helps to feed the ALLIGATORS.

The father and daughter team also enjoy weekends searching for rattlesnakes – one of the most dangerous species in the world.

And they upload their hair-raising videos of all their adventures to their SnakeHuntersTV channel on YouTube.

Krista has already set her sights on opening her own reptile zoo when she’s older because she wants to change perceptions about snakes.

She added: “Some people are afraid of snakes and they want to kill them but I think they’re really cool and interesting.

“One day I want to own every kind of reptile in the world.”

Weird indeed! *shivers*

'12 Years a Slave' Book and Film to be Taught in American High Schools

12 Years a Slave, the story of Solomon Northup's life as a free Black man who was abducted and sold into slavery, will now be taught in American public high schools.
According to Time, the National School Board Association in partnership with New Regency, Penguin Books has announced that the Oscar-nominated film, along with the original 1853 memoir and a study guide will be sent to public high schools across the United States.
Each school district will be able to decide how and if they will incorporate the material into their curriculum.
Tom Gentzel, executive director of the NSBA, said,"This gives high school teachers a lot of options, so they can decide how they can fit it in with the curricula they're teaching."
Steve McQueen, the film's director, has been vocal about his desire to have Solomon Northup's story become a part of education around the world. "Since first reading 12 Years a Slave, it has been my dream that this book be taught in schools," said McQueen.
12 Years a Slave is set to be distributed in September.  Talk show host Montel Williams will fund the distribution of the film.

Zimbabwe President Mugabe @ 90!

BBC- Robert Mugabe is turning 90 and a weekend of celebrations is planned in Zimbabwe to celebrate the president's long life. Born in the village of Kutama, south-west of the capital, he was educated by Jesuits and went on to become a teacher before joining the liberation struggle, spending 11 years in prison and becoming Zimbabwe's first leader in 1980.
Here are nine things you may not know about him - and which may hold the key to his longevity.
line break
1) Exercise and traditional food
"I fall sick if I don't exercise," Mr Mugabe said three years ago. Needing little sleep, he gets up between 04:00 and 05:00 every morning to exercise while, according to a close source, listening to the BBC World Service. But he's not fond of the gym machines his wife has installed in state house andprefers to follow his own regime: "In prison we had no equipment, we just had ourselves and that's what I still do today."
L: Robert Mugabe laughing while holding a glass in 1983 R: Robert Mugabe in 2009, with a skip in his step
Another secret to his long life may be that he prefers his sadza - Zimbabwe's staple food - to be made the traditional way from unrefined grains, which is much healthier than the ubiquitous white version of the maize dish. Plus he doesn't smoke, although is known to have some wine with dinner.

2) Resurrection
Despite constant rumours of ill health - a Wikileaks cable suggested he has prostate cancer - his health and political career appear robust. Cataracts are his only confirmed ailment - he had an operation to remove one this week. "I have died many times - that's where I have beaten Christ. Christ died once and resurrected once," he said when he turned 88.

Although he was brought up a Catholic - his mother was very religious - he said in an interview with South Africa's public broadcaster SABC some years ago that he was not a devout Christian.

3) Great cricket fan
He has long professed his love of cricket. The patron of the Zimbabwe Cricket association, his official residence is right next to the Harare Sports Club, which allows the president to keep a watchful eye on the wicket during national matches.

"Cricket civilises people and creates good gentlemen," Mr Mugabe said several years after Zimbabwe became independent. " I want everyone to play cricket in Zimbabwe; I want ours to be a nation of gentlemen."

4) Bad loser
As a boy, Robert Mugabe was a "keen and good" tennis player, said a student teacher at the Catholic mission where he went to school. But when he lost he would throw his racket onto the ground. "You would see his head fall and his shoulders drop down and he would leave the court without saying anything to anybody," Brother Kazito Bute told Heidi Holland in her book Dinner With Mugabe.

He's admitted he was a poor footballer when young, but now enjoys watching the game, being a self-confessed Chelsea and Barcelona fan. "When I watch soccer, I do not want anyone to disturb me," he said in 2012. "Even my wife knows where to sit because while they are scoring in the field I will also be scoring at home, kicking everything in front of me."

5) Prefers Cliff Richard to Bob Marley
Bob Marley performing on stage
The late Zimbabwean politician Edgar Tekere told the BBC's Brian Hungwe that when organising the independence celebrations in 1980, Mr Mugabe wasn't keen on having Bob Marley perform. The prime-minister-in-waiting is said to have stated that British pop star Cliff Richard was much more to his taste. Journalist Wilf Mbanga, who knew Mr Mugabe well in the 1970 and 1980s, said country singer Jim Reeves was another favourite of the president.

Others have speculated that Mr Mugabe would have wanted the more clean-cut Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff to perform at the festivities on 18 April 1980. His dislike of Rastafarians is well-known - he once warned young Zimbabweans: "In Jamaica, they have freedom to smoke marijuana, the men are always drunk. Men want to sing and do not go to colleges, some then dreadlock their hair. Let's not go there."

6) Snappy dresser
Saville row suits, with matching tie and handkerchief, are what he is most comfortable in - and were his trademark until his former spin doctor Jonathan Moyo gave him a makeover in the early 2000s and he started campaigning in brightly coloured shirts emblazoned with his face and sports caps. Now his signature has inspired a designer fashion range.

But his Zimbabwean tailor Khalil "Solly" Parbhoo says: "He still dresses like an English gentleman - that's always been his style." He told Heidi Holland: "His suits were always made in London or I think somewhere in Malaysia, now that he isn't welcome in Britain anymore."

7) Admires Kwame Nkrumah
Then-Ghanaian Prime Minister Kwame Nkrumah arrives at the Assembly House in Accra for the opening of the new Parliament and the declaration of Ghana's Independence by the Duchess of Kent, 7 March 1957
Mr Mugabe's political awakening happened while in Ghana, where he was a teacher and met his first wife, Sally Hayfron. He arrived a year after pan-Africanist politician Kwame Nkrumah had led the Gold Coast to independence in 1957, the first sub-Saharan country to throw off the shackles of colonial rule. He said he was inspired by their liberation encapsulated in Ghana's Highlife music.

On his return home two years later, he began politicising people. "I started telling people… how free the Ghanaians were, and what the feeling was in a newly independent African state," he said in an interview in 2003. "I told them also about Nkrumah's own political ideology and his commitment that unless every inch of African soil was free, then Ghana would not regard itself as free."

8) A man of many degrees
In total Mr Mugabe has seven degrees, first graduating from South Africa's University of Fort Hare, where Nelson Mandela studied, with a bachelor of arts. He did his other degrees by distance learning - two of them while he was in prison - in administration, education, science and law.
Left: Robert Mugabe in March 1984 after being awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa at the University of Harare Right: A supporter of Robert Mugabe attends his inauguration after presidential elections in Harare, Thursda, 22 August 2013
He has also boasted of leading a party with "degrees in violence" - in a warning to trade unionists before strikes in 1998. A violent crackdown on opposition activists amid the political turmoil of the last decade has led several universities to revoke honorary degrees awarded to him for his achievements. Queen Elizabeth II also stripped him of his honorary knighthood as "a mark of revulsion at the abuse of human rights and abject disregard for the democratic process in Zimbabwe".

9) Had a child aged 73
He has three children with his second wife Grace Marufu, his former secretary. The couple's third child, Chatunga, was born in 1997, a year after they were married.

Christina Aguilera Is Pregnant!

Christina Aguilera is reportedly pregnant with her second child.

The 33-year-old singer announced her engagement to 29-year-old production assistant Matt Rutler last week.

And according to People magazine the couple are now expecting their first child together.

“They’re very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!” a source told the publication.

Christina and Matt began dating after they met on the set of her 2010 film Burlesque.

And the star happily informed her fans of their impending union over Valentine’s Day weekend.

“He asked and I said……,” she wrote in a coy message to her 11.6 million Twitter followers, which was attached to an image of her sporting a huge engagement ring while holding hands with her beau above a beautiful beach setting.

Apparently Matt pulled out all the stops to ensure his proposal was perfect.

He is said to have crafted every detail with precision, and it’s rumoured he put his all into creating the perfect ring for his future wife.

"Matt spent over a year designing the ring with the ring designer to represent their three-year journey together as a couple," an insider revealed previously. "He has been planning this for a while and was just waiting for the right time - the ring has been done for months. Every single placement of each stone has a reason and meaning."

Christina’s divorce from ex-husband Jordan Bratman was finalised in April 2011, six years after their 2005 wedding. Around the time she officially separated from Jordan in late 2010, the singer began dating Matt.

Christina shares six-year-old son Max Bratman with former flame Jordan.

Simon Cowell's emotional first tearful first words to his  son were reportedly: "I've waited all my life for you."

The wannabe punk star princess daughter of an African diamond tycoon worth £6BILLION

Bim Fernandez's father is one of the world's richest men, she called Mandela her uncle and even her dog wears gold chains - but she has her eyes set on the charts

She is 6ft tall with tattoos and piercings and she wants to be a wild rock star like Courtney Love.
But craving money and the trappings of fame are no spur for Bim Fernandez, 24, reports the Sunday People.
She already has all that – big time.
Because Bim, full name Abimbola, is the youngest daughter of an African diamond and gold tycoon reckoned to be worth a mind-blowing £6BILLION.
His Excellency Oluwo Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez, 77, is a part of Nigeria’s royal family, a roving ambassador for the United Nations and one of the world’s richest men.
He is also Baron of Dudley, a title he bought for £59,000.
He is close friends with former US president George Bush Snr and ex-UN boss Kofi Annan.
His many homes include Napoleon’s old chateau in France and he has a fleet of Rolls-Royces and three private jets.
Now Bim, who grew up in a bling-filled seven-storey Edinburgh mansion and went to Tony Blair’s old school Fettes, has landed a record deal .
Nelson: Meeting leader Mandela

And she is hotly denying that Daddy arranged it.
She said: “Money can’t buy you a record deal. You can either sing or you can’t.
“I did this all by myself. My father is p****d at me. He doesn’t approve of what I’m doing. My musical tastes are punk.
“I play a mean guitar and I’d really like to be like Courtney Love.”
One thing she shares with the rock-star widow of Kurt Cobain is wealth.
Her first single, Let’s Take it Naked, came out only last week but her riches are already up there with the superstars.
Home is a fabulous Manhattan apartment with a Picasso above her bed and a valuable first edition of Alice in Wonderland on the coffee table.
It was an eighth birthday present from her late mum.
There are family photos of “Uncle” Nelson Mandela and a personal note from Pope John Paul II.
High places: Antonio Deinde Fernandez with George Bush Sr

Bim has so much jewellery her pet dog Napoleon wears solid gold chains.
Back at her mum’s old place on a £10million island estate near New York there’s a dining room chair once owned by Henry VIII.
“To me it’s just a chair,” said Bim dismissively.
While at Oxford Brooks University she stayed at the £300-a-night Malmaison Hotel, not student digs.
But she dropped out after a month.
“Oxford was too snobbish,” she said.
“One day a boy in tweeds demanded to know how I could afford my diamond necklace.
"I hated it. I am so normal.
“When I visit Dad I have to take all of my piercings out, cover my tattoo and wear some of my mum’s 1980s dresses.
"If I took a boyfriend home, Dad would kill him.”
Bim does have a boyfriend, the kind Courtney might approve of.
Stefan Getty is a Belfast tattoo artist with colourful inkings all over his face.
“I’m supposed to say I’m single,” said Bim. “And, no, my dad has not met him.”

True Valentine.....what does Val's day mean to you?

Valentine’s Day is known as Saint Valentine’s Day. It is celebrated very warmly on 14 Feb every year. It is purely a Christian event. Due to its history and era wise changing, lovers tell their emotions to their beloved, give red roses and present love cards.
This event is celebrated in the memories of Saint Valentine, who were imprisoned for performing weddings of soldier, who were totally prohibited that they can not get married. There are many short love poems, which were written in the memories of Saint Valentine’s and many other lovers, who came after him. Poems are mostly written by lovers and poetry actually is the over flow of feelings of a lover, lover loves his or her beloved and is ready to do everything for him or her. Sometimes he expresses his love saying her that she is his world his everything, he also says that we will be together after death, sometimes he says we’ll never die even death comes here. When these feelings increase, these feelings over flow and change into poetry.
Their were many short love stories in this world after this incidence, which took birth specially on 14 Feb, because of Saint Valentine’s memories, lovers enhance their feeling of love and propose their beloveds.
Today people celebrate valentine's day in various ways... Some use the opportunity to express love and do good in the society, works of charity; some use the opportunity to show love to their loved ones in various ways; couples use the opportunity to spend quality time alone inspite of busy schedules...
But what worries me most in today's society is that Valentine's day is becoming more of a 'lust thing' rather than love... True love. In the media you hear and read lots about sex on valentines and this creates some kind of pressure on youths, they start thinking that it's all about sex, some desperately looking for anybody to be their 'valentine' just to 'belong'!
What does valentine's day mean to you? Comment below and share your love story!

Mysterious 'Healing' River In Enugu State Dries Up

The 'healing' river which mysteriously appeared in Nnachi, Enugu state Nigeria about 3 months ago is disappearing, with only a small muddy portion remaining.

For the people of Nnachi, the drying up of the river is not a surprise. They said that the mystery river usually sprang up every seven years and lasts for seven days before disappearing.

They, however, confessed that the last time the river emerged was  about 30 years ago before appearing last November and remaining in place for more than three months.

The water, which has been nicknamed ‘River of Bethsaida,’ is located about a kilometre into the bush, off the old Awka – Enugu Expressway.

Indeed, since the water appeared in the first week of November 2013, the area has turned to a Mecca of sorts, just as jerry can sellers, food vendors, commercial motorcyclists and photographers have thronged the community for business.

A commercial motorcyclist, who took this reporter to “Bethsaida,” confessed that people, who started the business as soon as the healing river appeared “made so much money,” as, according to him, “people come here in thousands on a daily basis; the peak periods are weekends, especially Sunday; so business has been good.”

Continuing, he also stated; “People have come from very far places to be part of what is happening here. Personally, I have carried some Chinese on this bike; they were about four and they refused to be paired on one motorcycle.”

The commercial motorcyclist, who later identified himself as Ugochukwu Nweke, from Effium, in Ebonyi State, narrated how he carried a cripple to “Bethsaida” and he walked home, abandoning his crutches.

A photographer, who operates with the name, Honesty for God’s Photos, and who was selling pictures, calendar, and VCD plates of events at the river, narrated his experiences, revealing how the river is drying up.

The young man, who hails from Mgbo, in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State said: “I came down here in November last year because of this water and I have remained here since then. When I came here, the water covered everywhere; all these trees you are seeing now were all submerged by the water and I have witnessed several miracles and healings since I arrived. Truly, God has visited His people through this water.”

“I have used my camera to record series of healings; the blind have regained their sight here. This calendar contains pictures of those healed through this water. The deaf and the dumb have been healed; cripples threw away their crutches here and walked.

People have come here and cried to God for solution to various problems and as an eyewitness, I can confirm that God has blessed a lot of people here.

“But those who soiled their hands in one way or another have also received their punishment here. Some of them came here but died after washing in the water.”

Adding his voice to the punishment those who soiled their hands receive at the shores of the mystery river, Ugochukwu narrated how a man came and tried to fetch some water but the water he fetched turned red and all efforts he made to put the water into his container failed. He stated that the man attempted  to take a bath in the water but died  after confessing that he killed two of his boys, who were learning trade in his shop.
“He died inside here and the Okada that transported the dead body to the main road charged a fee of N7, 500,” he said.
Although there is no accurate account of the number of people, who have died at “Bethsaida,” there are speculations that, at least, five persons lost their lives.

Chief C.C Illobi, businessman, who deals on plates and hails from Anambra State, came to “Bethsaida” in December to do business.  Said he: “Before I came here, I had been hearing stories about this place. I was determined to see things for myself. I wanted to be convinced. When I came here,  it dawned on me that the stories were factual. I have witnessed several miracles. I have seen the blind regain their sights here; it happened in my presence. There was also a woman, who carried her pregnancy for four years; people saw her and witnessed it. She did not believe the stories she heard but when her relations came here and saw what was happening, they convinced her to also come. Her brother brought her here on a Friday; the next day, she went into labour and delivered.”

“One man, who says he worships with Christ Embassy came here with his Bible a few hours ago. He prayed for a long time and went to bath in the water but immediately he came out he fell down. People started telling him to start confessing but as a prophet too, I told them that the man was not evil, that they should leave him alone. They carried him off the sun to a cool place; I took a sachet water and poured on him. After sometime, he regained consciousness and said he had never seen a thing like that, adding that he now believed that God was at work here.

“Another man came here and asked if we were sure that miracle happened here; people cautioned him. They told him that if he was in doubt he should spend some time there and see for himself. He started videoing the environment and those swimming. But when he finished and wanted to view what he had recorded, all he could see was a rainbow-like object, covering the water.”

Mr. Ruben Onwe, from Izzi, in Ebonyi State, believes he had been poisoned in one of his legs and decided to seek healing at “Bethsaida.” Said he: “The water is wonderful; people have been talking about it even on the Internet; the story is everywhere. So, I decided to come and be healed. And after taking my bath in the water I believe I am healed.”

For Emeka Agu, from Okpatu, in Udi LGA of Enugu State, “the first time we came here, my wife used the water and sand we got from here to massage one of her relatives, who had a swollen leg. The leg was so swollen he couldn’t even lift it. A few minutes after administering the sand and water on the leg, the man started jumping up, that he was healed. We that brought the water and gave him were amazed; personally, I thought the man was joking, but he kept jumping around in excitement.
“The following day, he called on phone to announce that the leg had been completely healed. After a week, he continued calling to say the thing had disappeared. That was when I believed that things were really happening here. Personally, I have been feeling lighter and better within me since I came.”

Rihanna's accountant leaves her bankrupt!

Rihanna

An accountant mismanaged Rihanna's money so badly that she was "effectively bankrupt," TMZ reports.

The "What Now" singer is suing New York-based firm Burden LLC for mishandling her money. In new legal documents, Rih Rih claims that she was nearly broke.

Although she's worth upwards of $40 million today, back in 2009 she was down to her last $2 million, and didn't know. According to the latest paperwork, she made $11 million in cash in 2009, and blew through more than half of her earnings because of her accountant's bad business advice.

A good portion of the money went to a more than $7 million mansion, which she ended up selling for $2 million less than she paid.

She also claims her expenses also doubled that year, and that her Last Girl on Earth tour was losing money, yet the accountant neither informed her, nor advised that she curb the spending.

The 25-year-old singer, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, filed the initial lawsuit in 2012. It is unclear as of press time if the company has filed a legal rebuttal to her most recent claims.

Suicide bid: O.J. Simpson during his 2008 trial

Disgraced former American Football star O.J. Simpson has gone on hunger strike in jail in a bid to kill himself, according to reports in the U.S.
Simpson, who was convicted of kidnap, assault and robbery in 2008, said: "I used to live my way, and now I'm going to die my way. I want to just sit down in a corner and die."
A source claimed that Simpson, 66, who is eligible for parole in 2017,  wanted to die so that his children would be able to get his millions.
He wants his fortune, which is largely stored in his pension account, to be distributed between his daughters Sydney, 28, and Arnelle, 45, and sons  Justin, 25, and Jason, 43.
Although Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and  her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.
Goldman's family were awarded £21 million in a subsequent wrongful death civil suit.

"He can't give the kids his money while he's alive without the Goldman family laying claim to it," the source added.
"The only way O.J. figures he can leave his kids the millions is to kill himself."
Simpson was found guilty of kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges in  what he said was an attempt to retrieve memorabilia and personal items from  two sports collectibles dealers in a casino hotel room.
The former Buffalo Bills star was sentenced to between nine to 33 years in  Nevada state prison in 2008 but was granted parole on some convictions last July.
As a result he must serve at least three more years before he can be released on parole.
