Irokotv boss, Jason Njoku and Nollywood actress, Mary Remmy’s wedding took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Festac, Nigeria yesterday. 

Purple was the theme colour of the day as their reception venue was decorated with different shades of purple while most guests and the bridal train also wore purple dresses. 

The event was graced by the presence of the bride's fellow nollywood stars including Mercy Johnson, Halima Abubakar, Eniola Badmus, Moyo Lawal, Uche Jombo, Oge Okoye and many more including groom's business partners and staff from Iroko Partners.

Age Spots:

Wash your face with sour milk. The lactic acid will provide a gentle peeling effect without irritating or drying the skin.

 

Brown Spots and Age Spots:

On a clean face apply a thin layer of plain unflavored yogurt. Leave this mask on for 20 minutes then rinse. Same as milk, the latic acid in yogurt gently sloughs off dead skin cells and discolored skin patches.

 

Acne:

Egg White Acne Mask

2 large eggs
2 drops of lemon juice (optional) Separate the egg whites, add the 2 drops of lemon juice.
Whip the egg whites until frothy. After thoroughly cleansing your face, gently apply the whipped egg to face. Leave on until mask dries. Rinse with warm water and moisturize as normal. This treatment will tighten your skin and help clear red spots.
Naturally, if you are allergic to eggs, do not use this recipe

 

Cucumber Facial Mask for Oily Skin

1/2 Cucumber
1 Egg white
1 Tbl. lemon juice
1 tsp. Mint
Puree all ingredients and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Apply mixture to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with hot water then cool water. Afterwards apply a mild toner and oil free moisturizer.

 

Anti-Aging Facial Mask

2 tsp. plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3 capsules vitamin E (equivalent of 300 units)
Combine all ingredients. Open the Vitamin E capsule and fold contents into the mix. Gently apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and follow with a toner and moisturizer.

 

Facial Mask for Dry Skin

1 egg
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon olive oil
a bit of vitamin E oil
Mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil. Spread over your face and neck, leave on for 15 - 30 min then rinse in lukewarm water. Rinse with warm water and follow with a toner and moisturizer.

Sylvester Stallone was definitely not the centre of attention as his glamorous mother, Jackie, currently 90 years old, posed for the paparazzi, raising eyebrows at a film premiere on Wednesday as she stepped out in a mini skirt and heels.

Rumour has it that the age-defying Jackie who was a contestant in Celebrity Big Brother in 2005 has spent up to £70,000 on her latest cosmetic surgery makeover, including a boob job, facelift and total body skin resurfacing.

‘Her arms and skin look fabulous,' Dr Aamer Khan of the Harley Street Skin Clinic tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Her skin appears very smooth for her age and her chest is almost flawless, but it's just such a pity about her face.

‘Her lips are far too big. She has them over-filled and I hope it's not with silicon, as she'll be stuck with it.'
