Suspects were charged with conspiracy, murder, armed robbery, rape, “unlawful administration of obnoxious substance” and “forceful administration of obnoxious substance” with a view to causing bodily harm.

FOUR young men held for allegedly murdering Cynthia Osokogu Udoka, the daughter of a retired Maj.-Gen. of the Nigerian Army were yesterday arraigned before a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos, by the police.

The trial magistrate subsequently ordered that the suspects be remanded in prison custody pending advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

The suspects are Okwumo Echezona Nwabufo (33), Ejike Ilechukwu Olisaeloka (23), Orji Osita (32) and Maduakor Chukwunonso (25).

Magistrate O. S. Aka Bashorun said they should be remanded in Kirikiri Prison, Lagos, after an eight-count charge brought against them by the police was read to them and the case was adjourned to October 3 for mention.

Their plea was not taken. The magistrate only asked if they understood the charge after it was read to them, to which they answered yes.

They were charged with conspiracy, murder, armed robbery, rape, “unlawful administration of obnoxious substance” and “forceful administration of obnoxious substance” with a view to causing bodily harm.

Kim Kardashian Tells Kanye West: 'Forget marriage, let’s have a baby'

Would having a baby cement Kim and Kanye’s brand?

Kim has suggested to boyfriend Kanye West that they forget about marriage for now and have a baby instead.

With her divorce battle with Kris Humphries still raging on, Kim thinks that having a baby would cast a shadow over the negative publicity that Kris has been creating.

“Kim and Kanye are serious – they want to get married as soon as possible,” a source told heat magazine exclusively. “But Kim figures that if Kris is going to drag their divorce on for as long as possible, then she’ll put her wedding plans on hold and concentrate on starting a family with Kanye first.”

They have only dated for four months but 'Kimye' have been friends for over ten years, so Kim believes they are ready to settle down.

"The truth is that Kim, 31, and Kanye, 35, have known each other for a long time and first met over ten years ago, so it’s not a rush decision for her at all,” the insider told heat.

“She thinks Kanye has everything; he’s incredibly rich, talented and good-looking. She knows her baby will be taken care of and loves the idea that they would be first-time parents together.”

“Kim can’t help but think how a baby could cement her and Kanye’s brand. But most of all it would mean she had a family, finally after all her heartbreak over the lastyear.”

ibola: Man Steals From Quarantined Uganda Hospital Patient, Contracts Ebola Virus

Don't do the ibola crime if you can't contract ebola.

A man stole a cell phone from an isolation ward in Uganda two weeks ago, but realized he had more than the police to worry about when he began showing symptoms of Ebola, the Daily Monitor reports.
The unidentified, 40-year-old thief took a $23 phone from a patient at Kagadi Hospital, where several people were quarantined during a recent Ebola outbreak in the area. The patient has since succumbed to a deadly hemorrhagic fever stemming from the virus, but reported the phone missing shortly before he died, the Global Post reports.
Investigators tracked the swindler after he started making phone calls to friends and it wasn't long before the thief began showing symptoms. He checked himself into the same hospital he'd stolen the phone from and confessed his crime to police. Doctors said he is currently being treated.
The Ebola virus, which can cause Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is a contagious sickness that includes painful symptoms such as rash, diarrhea, vomiting, and bleeding from every orifice, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
After the outbreak, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni warned citizens to refrain from physical contact, including shaking hands and casual sex.
