Fire Outbreak At The Euro- Asia Plaza In Balogun Market, Lagos

Fire has gutted the multi-storey Euro-Asia Plaza in the popular Balogun Market on Lagos Island,Nigeria, today.

The cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained but huge smoke was seen billowing from the building.

Traders were also seen hurling their goods from adjoining buildings to prevent them from being gutted by fire.

A Union Bank fire service crane has been deployed to the scene and was trying to rescue trapped traders.
