- The music mogul’s lover, who is pregnant with his baby, will be hit with a $50,000 penalty – around £31,000 – if he ever comes in contact with young Adam
Simon Cowell has been warned to stay away from his girlfriend Lauren’s seven-year-old son – or she will have to pay her ex a hefty fine.
The bizarre legal agreement has been made as part of the divorce settlement between 36-year-old Lauren and her estranged husband Andrew Silverman.
The music mogul’s lover, who is pregnant with his baby, will be hit with a $50,000 penalty – around £31,000 – if he ever comes in contact with young Adam.
And if Cowell should happen to see him THREE times, she will lose all contact with her son until a court is able to intervene and decide what to do.
The ban will last until January 2015.
There is also a clause in the settlement, revealed in US reports, that Lauren and Andrew agree to prevent Adam from calling anyone other than them “mother” or “father”.
Andrew has pledged not to bad-mouth Cowell, 54, and ensure others don’t trash the X Factor boss in the presence of his son.
In addition, the wealthy real-estate owner agrees to pay Lauren $3,000 a month child support.
Although Andrew, 37, initially cited Cowell as co-respondent when he filed for divorce, the grounds have now been changed from adultery to an
“irretrievable breakdown” of the marriage.
Andrew had been a close friend of Cowell until he found out about his affair with Lauren.
It is believed the two men have only met once since the news broke.
They are said to have met at a New York airport and talked for up to three hours before shaking hands.
It has been reported that Lauren walked away from the marriage with a £2.5million payoff.
Both she and Andrew say their main concern is their son.
