Beyonce reads her letter to Michelle Obama in new campaign video:
"I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to," Blue Ivy's mom, Beyonce says in a letter she wrote to Michelle Obama which was first posted in Beyonce's blog way back in April this year.
She described Michelle as "the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.....She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the first lady. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving and sensitive," the letter continues.
At the time, Michelle responded on Twitter, “Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.”
