America's first lady arrived London this morning and got down to business immediately motivating team America.
After her breakfast with Team America at their training facility in the university of East London, she gave her motivational speech urging the athletes to 'have fun, breathe a bit, but also win'.
Her schedule for the day includes hosting a Let's Move event for British and American school children alongside David Beckham, a reception at Buckingham Palace for heads of state and then a visit to East London and the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games.
On the 16th May 2012, nollywood actress Uche Jombo took us by surprise as she secretly married her boyfriend, Kenny Rodriguez in a private beach wedding ceremony in Puerto Rico.
WOW magazine, the celebrity magazine outfit who bought the exclusive right of Uche Jombo's wedding pictures, has finally released the pictures.
RE-EMERGING: The Jews of Nigeria is a journey into the heart of Igboland
and into the lives and culture of the Igbo people. The film introduces the world to the many synagogues that dot the land, and a handful of passionate, committed, and diverse characters -- each striving to fulfill their historical legacy with few resources and unbeknownst to most of the world. Individual stories are woven together with key facets of history, tracing the Igbo from Biblical times up to the brutal 1960s Biafran War, which killed over 1 million Igbo. A wide range of American academics help detail this history, including shedding new light on the Igbo origins of thousands of slaves captured during the Atlantic Slave Trade and brought to American shores. The film delves into this history and travels to the southeast coast of Georgia, where locals still speak of the Igbo spirit alive and well at a riverbed called Ibo Landing.
Being an Igbo, I find this quite interesting and i'm looking forward to watching the full documentary.
When shaped properly, eyebrows open up a woman's face and accentuate her natural beauty, but when they are incorrectly shaped, the outcome can be disastrous.
Here are some simple steps which I have culled from Hello! Online, to help get a perfect brow shape.
Step 1: Measure
To measure the position of the brow correctly, hold the handle of a brush along the edge of the nose up to the inner corner of the eye — this is where the brow should start. Keep the brush on the side of the nose and rotate it to the outer edge of the eye — that is the position where the brow should end.
Step 2: Apply
Fill in the brow shape using Eye Brow Cake in your desired colour and an angled eyebrow brush. Start by drawing a line at the base of the hairs, starting from the inner eye up to the arch of the brow. Then apply a soft parallel line above the brow, and fill in between. Repeat the process from the arch outwards to the point you wish the brow to end.
With any product that is left on the brush, gently brush it through the front of the brow to create a softer, more natural look.
Step 3: Highlight and define
Create a natural highlight by applying concealer underneath the brow. Apply with an angled eyebrow brush beneath the base of the brow, pulling down to the outer edge of the eyelid to sharpen the brow edge. If desired, soften the concealer using a blending brush.
