VIDEO: The World's Shortest Man And Woman Meet During The Making Of The Guinness Book Of World Records 2013 Edition.

Record holders are often pictured next to each other in Guinness World Records books but they very rarely meet each other in the flesh.

One notable exception came recently when the world's shortest man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi, met the world’s shortest woman, Jyoti Amge, as part of a promotion for the 2013 edition of Guinness World Records.

Dangi, a 72-year-old Nepalese man is, at 21.5 inches; Amge, 18, of Nagpur, India, measures 24.7 inches.

Amge is happy to be recognized by Guinness, and hopes to build up a career as a fashion designer and a Bollywood actress.

“Since being recognized by Guinness World Records, I have been able to visit lots of different countries," she said. "I love traveling. I have visited Japan and parts of Europe and now I can’t wait to visit the UK."

Guinness officials had been aware of Amge's existence for years, but waited until she was 18 to make the "world's shortest woman" title official.

Dangi, on the other hand, managed to escape discovery for more than 70 years before Guinness found him in the remote Nepalese mountain village of Rhimkholi, about 250 miles west of Kathmandu.

Dangi and Amge appear prominently in the 2013 edition of Guinness World Records, which will be published Sept. 13.

SHOCKING: Nollywood Actor, Richard Oganiru Confesses To Killing His Wife

Rich Oganiru`s name might not really ring a bell again but he`s one of Nollywood`s very good actors and stakeholders. In fact, he prides himself as one of the pioneering members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and has starred in over 300 movies.
He`s presently battling a murder scandal for his alleged involvement in the complicity leading to the death of a very rich Abuja based multimillionaire businesswoman believed to be his wife.

The deceased, National Enquirer gathered reliably, is not his first wife, the first wife also died mysteriously years back and he was in a very poor state of life before he met the Abuja based multimillionaire who transformed his life in a matter of months.

Style Copycats: Is Rita Ora Copying Rihanna's Styles? ...Or Is It Just Coincidence?

Coincidence?...Nah!! I don't think so...

I wonder what Riri would think though...

Backless dress: Rihanna wore this strappy backless dress in February, Rita followed suit with a long-sleeve version in April.

Flames: Rihanna wore this fiery T-shirt with a leather jacket and thigh high boots when she took the London Underground to the O2 arena back in March. Rita was also in London earlier this week when she wore this flaming skirt and crop top.

Floral jumpsuit: Rihanna (left) stepped out in this monochrome Stella McCartney jumpsuit in London in March, Rita went for a similar look just this week.

Green fluff: Hmm!! This can definitely not be a coincidence! There was controversy when PETA accused Rihanna of condoning cruelty to animals when she wore this Antonio Berardi ostrich-feather top last August, which Rita surely would have known about before she stepped out in this Mongolian lambswool coat this August.

Rihanna wore these over-the-knee Louboutin boots in February, Rita wore hers earlier this week

Can't say who got hers first, but it's a fairly safe bet that Rihanna had hers first.

Overalls and Timberlands: Rihanna wore denim overalls and Timberlands in June, Rita rocked the same boots with red dungarees for her performance at V festival earlier this month.

White gown: Rita looked glamorous in this outfit at the Cannes Film Festival in May, but Rihanna had worn a similar dress just over a week earlier.

White dress and trainers: Rihanna was spotted in New York in July wearing a white dress and trainers, Rita went for a very similar look in Manchester this week.

Well peeps, what do you think? Coincidence?

Oprah Winfrey Tops Forbes' 2012 List of Highest Paid Celebrities

Oprah Winfrey's empire still sails on even after wrapping up her syndicated talk show last year after a 25-year run. Through her Harpo productions, Winfrey still has her hand in Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray and The Dr. Oz Show. There’s her magazine, O,and her satellite radio station.

And then there’s OWN, the struggling cable network that’s currently occupying most of Winfrey’s time. She’s trying to boost ratings with shows like Oprah’s Lifeclass and Oprah’s Next Chapter. Winfrey has the time to nurture the network now that she’s done with her syndicated show, and she also has the money. We estimate that Winfrey earned $165 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

That puts her at the top of our Highest-Paid Celebrities list for the fourth year in a row.

With her past year earnings totaling a staggering $165 million, Winfrey beat out director Michael Bay, who earned in $160 million in 2011

Rounding out the top five on Forbes' list of highest paid celebrities are Steven Spielberg, who earned $130 million, Jerry Bruckheimer, who raked in $115 million, and Dr. Dre, who made $110 million.

SHOCKING: Police Parades Pastor Over Human Skull

The police in Ogun state, Nigeria on Tuesday paraded Pastor Michael Oyewole (29) and Mathew Akiode (30) at the command’s headquarters Eleweran, for allegedly exhuming human skull in Sabo, Abeokuta.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, told journalists that Akiode was caught committing the offence in the midnight.

Okoye added that after Akiode’s arrest, the suspect confessed that he was sent to get the skull by the pastor Oyewole, a pastor at Ona-Ara Mimo Cherubim and Seraphim at Olomore, not far away from the crime scene.

He said, “We got information about somebody who was digging a grave and we swung into action. He did not know he was being watched while removing the corpse".

“We apprehended him immediately he severed the head from the body. He told us that it was one Pastor Oyewole that sent him".

The police commissioner said Pastor Oyewole was subsequently arrested, and that the two suspects would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.

Akiode, who confessed to committing the crime said he was pushed into it by economic hardship.

"I used to work on his (pastor’s) site but he said I would make more money if I could get him human skull. So, I felt it was an easy way of making money and that was why I did it".

“I’m surprised at his denial. He taught me how to go about it,” Akiode said.

But Oyewole denied sending the suspect on such a mission.

“I am a man of God and pastor. I heal people in God’s name and not with human skull. He is just telling lies and I don’t know what I have done to him. Only God can save me now,” Oyewole said.

Nigerian Church Bans Towering Headwraps (Gele)

St Theresa's Cathedral Church in Enugu state says it will start confiscating geles “to enable security men to know when a bomb will be smuggled into the church”.

Sensible precaution or massive overreaction?

Churchgoers who wear the large, traditional headgears called geles that seek to reach for the heavens will have their "big headgears" confiscated from next month, the congregation at St Theresa's Cathedral Church in the south-eastern Nigerian state of Enugu has warned. Other churches are debating whether to follow suit.

"In view of the present security challenges the church has urged women to stop coming to Sunday service with big headgears and bags to enable security men to know when a bomb will be smuggled into the church," Reverend Father Uche Obodoechina said, adding that the headwraps made it difficult to identify people.

Capable of towering two feet in gravity-defying folds and arcs of lace or stiff jacquard, geles are the crowning glory of traditional outfits typically worn to church and sometimes seen as status symbols based on size alone. Important occasions – of which weddings and churchgoing remain firm favourites – can prompt intricate geles, usually finished off with stone-encrusted sunglasses and flashy handbags. "Women feel naked without their geles on special occasions," said Lagos-based makeup artist Kadiatou Sangare, who often helps women tie elaborate creations.

The crackdown on geles is one of a series of increasing security measures after Nigeria endured a spate of bomb attacks on churches and mosques from militant Islamist group Boko Haram. This year it has targeted at least six churches in northern and central Nigeria, prompting fears it is trying to ignite a sectarian war among Nigeria's evenly split Muslims and Christians. It has never struck a southern Nigerian state.

The move has divided opinion among churchgoers:

"It's a good thing," said taxi driver Idowu James. "There is no doubt some people carry big handbags to intimidate people lower down the ladder. Frankly, I don't think church is the right place for exercises in fashion parade."
Others see wearing geles to be as inalienable a right as going to church. "I've never heard such a thing and I don't think women in my own church will abide by that. Most of the week we women are working, so Sunday is the only chance to wear geles and dress up," said Lagos resident Grace George. "We want to look our best when we go to church, and you cannot do that if you expose your head."
Other churches have ramped up security as attacks have led to drops in attendance. Many restrict cars from parking in their vicinity during services. In at least two states – Plateau and Kogi – round-the-clock armed guards have been posted outside some churches.

Married Pastor Arrested For Passing On HIV To His Church Members

Pastor Craig Lamar Davis of Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia was arrested last month for reckless conduct after police found that he was sleeping with several women.

A woman by the name of Ronita McAfee says that she met the pastor on Facebook and began sleeping with him.

Ronita says that she became concerned when one of the pastor’s ex-girlfriends called her to say that she had HIV. She claims that the pastor then counseled her and told her to get tested. She noticed that the pastor himself was not interested in getting tested, even though she had also contracted HIV. This is what prompted her to seek out a warrant for his arrest.

When the investigation began, another woman in the church leadership stepped forward with her confession about sleeping with Davis.

Many women believe that if a man looks good, then he must be good and fit on the inside. They certainly don't want to investigate the man's HIV status as much as they check the size of his bank account! And men also make the same mistake, since they falsely believe that when a pretty girl offers you sex, you’re supposed to take it without thinking of the magnitude of risks that go with it.

Kim Kardashian Tells Kanye West: 'Forget marriage, let’s have a baby'

Would having a baby cement Kim and Kanye’s brand?

Kim has suggested to boyfriend Kanye West that they forget about marriage for now and have a baby instead.

With her divorce battle with Kris Humphries still raging on, Kim thinks that having a baby would cast a shadow over the negative publicity that Kris has been creating.

“Kim and Kanye are serious – they want to get married as soon as possible,” a source told heat magazine exclusively. “But Kim figures that if Kris is going to drag their divorce on for as long as possible, then she’ll put her wedding plans on hold and concentrate on starting a family with Kanye first.”

They have only dated for four months but 'Kimye' have been friends for over ten years, so Kim believes they are ready to settle down.

"The truth is that Kim, 31, and Kanye, 35, have known each other for a long time and first met over ten years ago, so it’s not a rush decision for her at all,” the insider told heat.

“She thinks Kanye has everything; he’s incredibly rich, talented and good-looking. She knows her baby will be taken care of and loves the idea that they would be first-time parents together.”

“Kim can’t help but think how a baby could cement her and Kanye’s brand. But most of all it would mean she had a family, finally after all her heartbreak over the lastyear.”

ibola: Man Steals From Quarantined Uganda Hospital Patient, Contracts Ebola Virus

Don't do the ibola crime if you can't contract ebola.

A man stole a cell phone from an isolation ward in Uganda two weeks ago, but realized he had more than the police to worry about when he began showing symptoms of Ebola, the Daily Monitor reports.
The unidentified, 40-year-old thief took a $23 phone from a patient at Kagadi Hospital, where several people were quarantined during a recent Ebola outbreak in the area. The patient has since succumbed to a deadly hemorrhagic fever stemming from the virus, but reported the phone missing shortly before he died, the Global Post reports.
Investigators tracked the swindler after he started making phone calls to friends and it wasn't long before the thief began showing symptoms. He checked himself into the same hospital he'd stolen the phone from and confessed his crime to police. Doctors said he is currently being treated.
The Ebola virus, which can cause Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is a contagious sickness that includes painful symptoms such as rash, diarrhea, vomiting, and bleeding from every orifice, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
After the outbreak, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni warned citizens to refrain from physical contact, including shaking hands and casual sex.

Woman Power!!...Sex Strike In Togo

Women Of Togo Asked To Keep "The Gates Of Their Motherland Locked To All Men" For A Week

Isabelle Ameganvi, pictured, leader of the opposition Let's Save Togo, called for a "one-week sex strike, fasting and prayers."

Women in Togo are being asked to refuse to have sex with their men for a week starting on Monday, to press for the release of activists arrested during recent anti-government protests. The leader of an opposition movement, Isabelle Ameganvi, called on women to "keep the gates of the motherland locked to all men for a week" as she put it.

"We have power to change things. We do not want to remain in the kitchen, but we can have our say in politics," Ameganvi said. "We cannot stay hand-crossed, as our children and husbands are being kept in jail."

In addition to the sex strike, she called on women to wear a special colour during a demonstration which will take place on Thursday.

"You all have to be dressed up in red pants to show your anger," she said, amid cheers.

"If our people are not released by Thursday, the women are going to rush to the prison naked to get them released, only in red pants and nothing else," she said.

The security minister said any attempts to enter the prison will lead to arrests.

Her movement is seeking an end to four decades of government by the Eyadema family.
