Ankara Festival L.A. Set To Hold In September..To Feature Fashion Designers Across Africa.

AnkaraFestLa, organisers of Ankara Festival which is held annually,  have announced that the 2012 edition would be holding on the 29th of September, 2012.
Ankara Fest LA, which means Ankara Festival Los Angeles, is the biggest Ankara Festival in the world that promotes the best in African and Nigerian culture through fashion, music, dance and food. Festival Los Angeles serves as a platform that promotes upcoming African fashion entrepreneurs.

 Some of the designers expected to showcase at the event are; Design A Diva (Nigeria), DAF “Fashion That Speaks Volumes” (Cameroon), Sumahrie Collections (Sierra Leone), ND’s Pieces (Los Angeles), Oyato Designs (New York/Nigeria), Glamm Fashions (New York/Nigeria), MABM Designs(Ghana), Dai Z Couture(Cameroon) etc.
The event, which will be holding at Avalon Hollywood, 1735 Vine St. Los Angeles, will be hosted by Actress, Shondrella Avery; with musical performances from Celestina, Saxophonist Seyi Alesh and Big Klefe; plus a tribute to Fela Anikulapo Kuti by the Afrobeat dancers.

Lady Gaga Debuts Her Louis Vuitton Hair In Amsterdam

Donning a new hairdo, Lady Gaga was spotted arriving at Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, Holland today.

Gaga has obviously been busy on her tour playing with her make-up and dying her hair, tweeting an image of herself with new brunette locks.
She has deliberately kept a chunk of her hair its trademark blonde, tying it out the way with a clip.
'I'm gonna leave one streak of bad by my left ear,' she wrote. 'Lady when its down, and Gaga when its up. could we belong together?'
And she seemed pleased with hr new look, adding: 'Definitely feeling less blond lately and little more progressive brunette. I am LOUIS VUITTON BROWN. B**** THATS LV.'

Louis Vuitton brown is an iconic shade, much like Hermes orange, in high-fashion circles. That’s why Lady Gaga called her new shade of chocolatey hair “Louis Vuitton Brown.”

 

Angelina Jolie Laughs Off Wedding Speculation While Vacationing In Greece.... 'We're Not Getting Married Yet'

Angelina Jolie has apparently found speculation about her wedding to Brad Pitt hilarious!

Reportedly Angelina was questioned while holidaying in Greece with Brad where the couple were on a super-yacht with their six children and said they weren't get married, “yet”.

"Angelina was in white, but she laughed and said 'not yet' when the restaurant owner asked if she was getting ready to be married.” a source told the New York Post.

“She also said, 'We love Greece too much to leave . . . we have other islands to go to before heading back to France.'”

The family are expected to visit Mykonos and Santorini in the Greek islands as they continue their holiday. 

Apparently, the rumours buzzing around that the couple were set to marry have proved to be false.

Nollywood Movie Last Flight to Abuja Official Premiere, Awards Night And After Party In Ireland

The Nollywood crew will be coming to Ireland for the official premiere of Last Flight To Abuja on the 29th of September 2012. There will also be an awards night and after-party.

Venue will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry Demesne, Dublin. Doors open at 6pm with all major casts on the red carpet.

So... The Much Speculated Brangelina Wedding Didn't Take Place This Weekend. Why?

So much hype about the speculated Brangelina wedding! The wedding, which was initially scheduled for last weekend, 12th of August could not take place due to unfinished renovations at their french home. Further speculations about the wedding taking place today has turned out to be just another speculation, extensive renovations to their Chateau is still ongoing.
Well, whatever happens we'll surely keep you updated.

According to reports, here are some of their wedding details...
The couples French Chateau has its own chapel, where the couple plan to exchange vows. A grand reception hall has also been added to their home with a motorcycle track, just in case Ange fancies a ride on her bike on the day..lol. Guests can also apparently walk around 20 beautiful water fountains, aqueducts and a stream that runs through hidden tunnels and into a moat and ornamental lake.
Meanwhile, the guests will apparently sip on the finest of wines, which will include white wine called Lady Jane, a red called Natouchka and award-winning rose, Pink Floyd.
The menu will consist of an organic menu of meat and fish that includes local garlic, marjoram and a Provencal herb called sarriette. Their guestlist includes the likes of Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Tom Cruise.
