Zimbabwe: For seven days and nights, the congregation prayed and fasted after receiving a prophecy telling them to pray more, then on Sunday, the seventh day, they went to the church mission house, and found a naked man with colourful ropes inside the building.
The young congregation of the New Life Worship Centre Church in Block X, Soshanguve, prayed for the safety of the churchyard and to have a deeper awareness of God in their lives.
"We had prayed all night. Then as the sun started rising at about 5am, we went inside the church. And there he was! We found ourselves face to face with this naked man," Johannes Mametja, a man of God. , said.
Johannes said he couldn't understand how he got into the house.
"The house was locked. We realised he must have used magic keys to open the back door. As we are believers we called on the name of the Holy Spirit. This made the naked man hostile. Then he suddenly dived out of the window and ran away," added Johannes.
Mametja and his congregation chased after the running man and saved him from a beating by community members who had joined the chase. Church member Neo Mmakola (21) said they took him to the church and started to pray for him.
"He confessed that his name was Lucky and he had spiritually come from Limpopo. We cut off the ropes from his body and found they had muthi tied to them," said Neo.
Warrant officer Lolo Mangena told Daily Sun: "A middle aged, totally naked man is being kept at the police station while we trace his family."

Lagos police arrest suspected serial killer, robber
Ibrahim Balogun |
The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended Ibrahim Balogun, a 25-year-old man accused of perpetrating a series of murders in Somolu, Bariga and Fadeyi in the state.
PUNCH Metro had reported on June 25, 2012, that Balogun also known as Small Jpron, was declared wanted following a gang-related violence between Shaggy Boys and Downtown Boys which left at least five people dead in Ilaje, Bariga.
Balogun, who also goes by the pseudonym, Asarailu, which means death in Arabic, is said to be the deputy gang leader of Downtown Boys and a member of a sect, Eiye Confraternity also known as EFCC Boys.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Balogun was arrested on Bawahala Street near Pedro Police Station on Saturday.
A reliable police source narrated the circumstances that led to Balogun’s arrest to the Punch correspondent.
He said, “On Friday, around 11:30am, Yusuf Adebowale, a resident of Somolu, took a commercial motorcycle to FirstBank branch in Fadeyi to withdraw N100, 000. As he was withdrawing the money from ATM, the okada rider, later identified as Dare, informed Balogun and his gang.
“As Adebowale left the bank, just a few metres away, Balogun and three other gang members attacked him and stole the money, phone and a wristwatch.
“Adebowale reported the matter at Onipanu Police Station and also told youths in the area about his ordeal. Less than an hour later, Dare, the okada rider, was apprehended by residents and taken to the police station where he confessed.
“Later that night, he led us to Balogun’s hideout but Balogun was not around. One of the policemen, identified as Abu, however released Dare without authorisation.”
According to reports, the following day around 11:30am, Balogun and four others allegedly went to rob residents of Bawahala Street and a woman alerted the police.
The police source said, “In broad daylight, Balogun and four gang members, heavily armed, went to rob. We received a distress call and policemen headed by Inspector Smart, rushed down to the scene.
“The four others escaped but Balogun was arrested and taken to Pedro Police Station where he identified himself as Ibrahim Oriyomi Folarin.”
The Punch correspondent learnt that the policemen could not identify Balogun even though the police had declared him wanted. However, scores of residents stormed the police station and quickly identified him.
It was learnt that there was pandemonium at the station as residents who had fallen victims to Balogun and his gang asked the police to hand him over.
Youths in the area were said to have brought a tyre and petrol which they threatened to set the suspect ablaze.
But the Special Anti-Robbery Squad took Balogun away and this restored normalcy to the station.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on the telephone.
She said Balogun had been on police wanted list for a long time.
“I just spoke to the officer in charge of SARS and he confirmed the incident to me. He said the suspect (Balogun) is accused of murders, attempted murders and robberies,” she said.

Photos and Video: Muslim devotees turn mosque floor red as they pay respects to the Prophet Mohammad and his martyred grandson with the flowing of their blood
Blood is seen on the floor of a mosque as Indian Shiite Muslims flagellate themselves during a holy procession.
Shi'a Muslims all over the world pay their respects with the flowing of their blood as they mourn the slaying and martyrdom of Imam Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad.
He was killed by his political rivals along with 72 companions in the seventh century battle of Kerbala where some of the bodies of the dead were then mutilated.
The processions also involve walking on burning coals and carrying a 'Tazia' - replica of the coffin of Hussein.
Some participants gather for ceremonial chest beating as a display of their devotion in remembrance of his suffering and to preach that oppression will not last.
In some Shi'a regions of Muslim countries such as Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Bahrain, the commemoration has become a national holiday.

Woman Sues Husband For Denying Her Sex For 10 Years
A housewife, Saratu Haruna, on Monday dragged her husband, Isa Mainika before a Kaduna Sharia Court two, Magajin Gari for allegedly denying her sex for 10 years.
Haruna of Kawo, in Kaduna North Local Government Area, told the court that she was no longer interested in the marriage, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The woman said she no longer believes there is marriage between them.
“We have been staying for 10 years now, but nothing is happening between us in terms of marital affairs,” she said.
She told the court that she was no more interested in staying with Mainika as her husband, adding, “I don’t love him again.”
Mainika denied the claim, and accused the wife of starving him of sex.
“Anytime I request for sex, she always denies me. There was a time we had a serious fight over this issue and she bit me,” he said.
Mainika told the court that trouble started after his wife gave birth to their second baby.
He said, “Since then I do not know what I have done to her and I have asked her severally, but she refused to say anything.
“I even invited our elders to settle the matter but the effort yielded no positive result.
“I am still in love with her. I do not want to divorce her because I am really worried about the future of our children.”
The Presiding Khadi, Mallam Ibrahim Inuwa, ordered the couple to discuss the matter with their elders for amicable settlement.
Inuwa, however, said that if the case is not settled by the family, the court would decide on what to do.
“What is happening between you is not the Sunnah of our holy prophet. It is totally not acceptable in Islam to be cheating on one another,” he said.
The Khadi, therefore, adjourned the case till December 6 for continuation of hearing.

STYLEWATCH: Dressing The SKITTLE Shape
DRESSING THE SKITTLE SHAPE: What kind of outfits are suitable for the skittle-shaped ladies?
Trinny and Susannah’s the Skittle is described as average tits, slim waist, ok tummy, big thighs, chunky calves.
I’ve got to say I’ve had great difficulty working out the difference between a skittle and a pear. The differences are subtle but definitely quite distinctive in terms of dressing. Both a Pear and Skittle have a slim waist although on a Pear it’s likely to be longer. That’s because the real difference between a Pear and Skittle is the hips and thighs. A Pear has added extra on the outside of their thighs. By contrast a Skittle just has big legs; thighs and calves. A Pear is also likely to be much smaller on the top half with smaller breasts and a more toned stomach.
Dressing The Skittle
The biggest problem with a Skittle is the lack of balance between top and bottom. The bottom is bigger than the top and that highlights how much bigger the bottom half is. So the solution is to get balance back. This is done be adding volume to the top half and minimising the lower half.
Don’t – wear short trousers or capris. You have short legs so if you cut them half way down the calves you’re simply making them shorter again which makes your thighs look wider.
Do – get some interest happening in your top half with eye catching jewellery and eye popping tops.
Don’t – wear stretch pants of any type as they will cling to your thighs.
Do – wear fitting clothes on your upper half as baggy on top will just highlight the lower half.
Clothing – what shapes to avoid
Skinny leg jeans – assuming you can get them in your size (something I struggle with) they highlight your thighs and make your ass look huge.
Pencil skirts – this works the same as skinny leg jeans in that it catches your lower half and highlights although it can be made to work if you have something extra special go
Cropped pants – short pants cuts your leg off and makes your look shorter and your legs wider.
Ankle straps – your legs are short and an ankle strap on a shoe has the effect of making them look shorter, and again, wider.
Clothes – what shapes to look for
Shirt with detail – use added embellishments and details on your blouses to add bulk and volume to your top half. The idea being that your lower half is contained and simple so bring the drama to your top half. It will draw attention directly to your face which is the ideal place for it!
Panelled skirt – look for a firmer fabric with some shape to it. The panelling will give you firm support whilst the slightly flared shape will give a hint of femininity. Any vertical lines on your thighs and bottom will have a slimming effect.
Dress with flared skirt – a dress that is fitted through the top half of your body before flaring out over your thighs is the best choice. The fitted top hugs your curves and emphasised your slenderness on top, the detail at your waist highlights your waist and then the skirt flares over your thighs and discretely disguises their width.
Body hugging top – wearing colour on your top half attracts attention, more aptly it draws attention away from your lower half. A body hugging top shows your slender torso and ruched sleeves make your body look wider. The draping neckline of this top adds volume to your top half making your seem more balanced.
Fitted knit – the goal for a Skittle is always to make the upper half of their body broader to offset the width of your thighs whilst at the same time showing off your slender waist. A fitted knit vest over a feminine blouse with show your shape beautifully whilst making your shoulders look wider.
Wide leg trousers – wide leg pants fall from the hips and bottom and will skim over your thighs. Because they stay the same width all the way down they d isguise your calves and make your legs look longer. Get them hemmed to your heel. If you prefer to wear heels have them hemmed even longer and you will look taller and leaner again.
Waist hugging jacket – make use of your tiny waist with your jackets by finding one that hugs it lovingly. The wide open neck of this jacket broadens your shoulders and makes your seem wider, offsetting the width of your lower half.
High chunky heel – wearing a slender heel will simply highlight the width of your thighs and calves, particularly if you wear them with wide leg pants. Select a chunky heel that offers good stability. A higher heel is good as it adds height which again gives the illusion of more slender legs.
