Four Nigerian Gay Men Arrested In Imo State, Stripped Naked And Paraded In The Streets - Photos

On Monday the 14th of January, some men suspected to be practicing homosexuality were arrested by their community men in Ekwe, a village very close to Umuka in Njaba LGA of Imo State.

These were said to have been caught in the act and arrested.

According to eyewitnesses, they were allegedly molested by their community men. They were later stripped naked and tied in rope as they paraded them to the elder of the village.

Gay right advocate groups in Nigeria are already condemning the act.

They got engaged on Christmas Day after dating for just a few weeks, and now it seems that Katie Price and 25-year-old fiancé Kieran Hayler could be tying the knot this week.

According to reports, the loved up pair have jetted to the Caribbean to find a wedding venue and are planning to marry in just a few days, after a whirlwind romance.

Clearly in a hurry to make it official, the couple could be husband and wife just two months after meeting, and less than a year after she called off her engagement to Leandro Penna.

A source close to the 34-year-old glamour girl told The Daily Mirror:

'Katie shocked everyone when she announced their plans to tie the knot so quickly. The fact that they were engaged seemed to come out of the blue. Now, before that had time to sink in, she’s whisking him away to get married.'

'Hardly any of her pals are invited. But they are planning to come back and do the big showbiz version, probably with a mag deal and all the trimmings, once they’re husband and wife,' they added.

'She joked that this marriage will be third time lucky. Some of her mates aren’t so sure.'

Katie admitted that the stripper and builder had proposed over the festive period, telling The Sun: 'Kieran and I talked about marriage a few times and he proposed to me at Christmas over dinner.'

'It just feels right. I know what people will say because I've heard it all before. But life is short so when something feels right, I just go for it.'

According to reports, the smitten couple are in the process of finding somewhere private to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony, trying to go under the radar.

They started dating in summer 2009 - just two months after the model was heartbroken when first husband Peter Andre filed for divorce.

Katie's representatives failed to confirm or deny when the couple will be getting married.

Oops! Lady Gaga Wardrobe Malfunction....Latex Pants Split On Stage

When wearing latex, even Lady Gaga must proceed with caution.

Gaga suffered a very public wardrobe malfunction when her black latex pants split while she was on stage at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on
Friday, according to GossipCop. During a performance of “Heavy Metal Lover," Gaga hopped onto a motorcycle for part of her routine, causing her Versace pants split and expose her bare derriere.

The superstar singer reportedly took it all in stride and kept on performing like nothing happened, according to GossipCop.

Never one to shy away from controversy, Gaga sported an assault rifle bra, complete with two fake plastic guns, during a portion of her "Born This Way Ball" tour stop in Canada. The Sun notes that such an outfit could upset the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

The 26-year-old has also been making headlines recently for her ongoing feud with Kelly and Sharon Osbourne.

Sharon called Gaga a bully after the singer posted an open letter to Kelly on her LittleMonsters.com blog. According to Gaga, Kelly's show "Fashion Police" is "rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another."

Gaga on Saturday defended her choice to publish the letter. "The 'real world' can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place? I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do," she tweeted. "My letter to @MissKellyO was open, because her statements on cyber-bulling were public & as a youth activist I'm compelled to be involved."

Kidnappers Kill Imo State Deputy Governor’s Director of Protocol

The lifeless body of the Director of Protocol to the Imo State Deputy Governor, Mister Lance Anyanwu, has been found in Orodo in Mbaitoli Local Government area of Imo state.

Mr Anyanwu was earlier kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Saturday at his residence in Egbeada Housing estate in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Sources from the Government House said the news of his death came as a shock to the state government. The source added that the government had collaborated with security operatives in the state to put necessary measures to ensure he was released alive.

Also sometime in August last year, the Principal Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Mister Emenike Ihekwoaba, was kidnapped and is yet to be released.
Meanwhile, when contacted, the Imo state Police Public Relations Officer, Mister Vitalis Olugu said the police is yet to be informed about the death of the late director of protocol to the deputy governor.
