London terror probe; Two more arrested

British police have made two further arrests and searched multiple properties as they widened their investigation into Wednesday's fatal hacking to death of a British soldier in broad daylight on a busy London street by two Muslim terrorists.

The two arrests, of a man and a woman -- both 29 -- on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, raises the possibility that the gruesome attack was not a so-called "lone wolf" killing as once thought. Earlier it had been reported that the attackers were known to UK authorities and one had ties to a radical jihadist group well before the shocking attack that has stunned the United Kingdom and risked inflaming tensions between communities.

The two men, who were captured on cellphone video covered in blood and spouting jihadist rhetoric moments after the attack, have not yet been named, although Scotland Yard confirmed that they remained hospitalized in stable condition after being shot by armed police at the scene. But the killers, who wielded a machete and a cleaver and were dubbed "sickening individuals" by an incensed Prime Minister David Cameron, were already on the radar of security services, according to the BBC.

And Anjem Choudary, the leader of radical Islamist organization al-Muhajiroun -- a group banned under anti-terrorism laws in the UK -- has told Reuters that he knows one of the reported suspects. Michael Adebolajo, a Muslim convert from Christianity named by the BBC as one of the attackers, attended a number of the organization's demonstrations, lectures and activities according to Choudary, although he claimed not to have seen him for about two years.

The Ministry of Defense has named the slain soldier as 25-year-old Drummer Lee Rigby, of 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

In a statement made outside his Downing Street office after having chaired a meeting of the British government's COBRA (Cabinet Office Briefing Room A) emergency committee, British Prime Minister David Cameron refused to comment about whether security forces had prior knowledge of the suspects. However, he firmly condemned the attack in Churchillian terms, stating: “We will never give in to terror, or terrorism, in any of its forms.”

Additionally, the Conservative Prime Minister emphasized that “there is nothing in Islam that justifies this truly dreadful act,” and that the fault lay solely with the attackers. He also noted that more Muslim lives have been lost in terrorist acts than any other religion.

President Obama, in a statement Thursday afternoon, condemned the attack in strong terms, and reaffirmed the relationship between the US and the UK, stating: "The United States stands resolute with the United Kingdom, our ally and friend, against violent extremism and terror."

Prime Minister Cameron also praised the bravery of Ingrid Loyau-Kennett, a cub scout leader and mother of two, who got off a bus and tried to reason with the attackers after she tried to help the victim lying on the street.

The 48-year-old tried to keep talking to the two attackers before police arrived at the scene near the Royal Artillery Barracks in the neighborhood of Woolwich.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Loyau-Kennett said that when one of the attackers told her that they wanted to start a war in London, she responded: "It is only you versus many people. You are going to lose."

Saying she wanted to stop one of the suspects from attacking anyone else, she asked him if he "did it" and what he wanted.

Loyau-Kennett said she saw a crashed car and the victim lying on the street and tried to help him since she had been trained in first aid. She had determined the man was dead by the time the attackers confronted her.

She said "a black guy with a black hat and a revolver in one hand and a cleaver in the other came over" and excitedly warned her to stay away from the body.

"I asked him why he had done what he had done," The Guardian quoted her as saying. "He said he had killed the man because he [the victim] was a British soldier who killed Muslim women and children in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was furious about the British Army being over there."

She told The Daily Telegraph that the suspected terrorist was "in full control of his decisions" and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

When the man told him he was going to kill police when they arrived, she asked him if that was reasonable and tried to keep him engaged.

Then she spoke to the other attacker, who she described as quiet and shy.

"I asked him if he wanted to give me what he was holding in his hand, which was a knife, but I didn't want to say that," she said. "He didn't agree and I asked him: `Do you want to carry on?' He said: `No, no, no.' I didn't want to upset him," she is quoted as saying in The Guardian.

Loyau-Kennett said she was not scared and that the armed men did not seem to be drunk or on drugs. She said she was trying to keep them occupied so they didn't get more agitated.

She re-boarded her bus shortly before police arrived, watching from the vehicle as police shot and wounded the two unidentified suspects, who are both receiving treatment in the hospital.

"The officers shot them in the legs, I think" she told The Guardian.

The British government's COBRA emergency committee met Thursday after Prime Minister David Cameron said there were "strong indications" it was an act of terrorism, and two other officials said there were signs the attack was motivated by radical Islam.

One of the attackers went on video to explain the crime -- shouting political statements, gesturing with bloodied hands and waving a meat cleaver.

Images from the scene showed a blue car that appeared to have been used in the attack, its hood crushed and rammed into a signpost on a sidewalk that was smeared with blood. A number of weapons -- including butchers' knives, a machete and a meat cleaver -- were strewn on the street.

Footage -- obtained by ITV news and The Sun newspaper -- showed a man in a dark jacket and knit cap walking toward a camera, clutching a meat cleaver and a knife. Speaking in English with a British accent, he apologized that female passers-by "have had to witness this" barbarity, saying that "in our land our women have to see the same."

He gave no indication what that land was as he urged people to tell the government to "bring our troops back." British troops are deployed in Afghanistan and recently supported the French-led intervention in Mali.

"We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you," the man declared. "We must fight them as they fight us." The camera then panned away to show a body lying on the ground.

Scotland Yard confirmed that counterterrorism officers were leading an investigation into the attack. Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said the two men had been arrested and urged Londoners to remain calm. Both men were hospitalized, one in serious condition.

Late Wednesday, riot police fanned out in Woolwich as about 50 men waving the flag of the far-right English Defense League gathered, singing nationalistic songs and shouting obscenities about the Quran.

Meanwhile, Muslim groups quickly condemned the attack, calling for the police to calm tensions. The Muslim Council of Britain called it a "barbaric act that has no basis in Islam," adding that "no cause justifies this murder."

Britain has been at the heart of several terror attacks or plots in recent years, the most deadly being the 2005 rush-hour suicide bombings when 52 commuters were killed. More recently, Parviz Khan was convicted in 2008 of plotting to kidnap and behead a British Muslim soldier in Birmingham.

Some extremists have lashed out at Britain's involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. Recently, groups have also criticized Britain's assistance in the French-led mission to Mali to root out Islamic extremists in the north.

Miss Nigeria Ireland: Why Patricia Olufemi Was Stripped of Her Crown And Title

Nigeria Ireland 2012, Patricia Olufemi has yesterday been relieved of her crown and title as Miss Nigeria Ireland by the management, Perod Foundations.
There has been various publications all over the internet claiming that she resigned due to unprofessional attitude of the management, Perod Foundations. Here is a video footage of her resignation which she posted on youtube:

Well, WomenStyles is yet to speak with Ex queen Patricia Olufemi to get her own side of the story, but in the meantime, this is what Perod Foundation has to say about it:

Miss Nigeria Ireland 2012

Dear Patrcia Olufemi,

Wednesday, 22 May 2013

Re:  Revocation and Gross violation of terms and conditions of Miss Nigeria-Ireland).

On  behalf of Perod Foundation and Miss Nigeria Ireland, we hereby draw your attention to the

terms and conditions of the Miss Nigeria -Ireland beauty pageant, whose terms and conditions

you signed up to.

The rules and regulations specify that you are expected to maintain personal integrity and observe

the requirements of good manners and courtesy towards the organisers (Perod Foundation) and

the entire public. But in flagrant breach of the rules you have brought the organisation and the

title into disrepute and scorn.

By taking part in a movie without the consent and approval of Perod Foundation, you contravene

rule 8.  In addition you breached the rules by appointing a manager in the name of O'Sullivan during your reign.  As a result, the consequence of these actions is a revocation of your title and

crown as Miss Nigeria- Ireland 2012.

Further continuation of your act(s) of utter disregard for rules and regulations was displayed

when you went to pose in pants and skimpy clothes thereby, disregarding the directives from the

management that it was against the fundamental beliefs of the organisation and the Nigerian community for which the organisation exist.  Furthermore you used your social network (facebook)

and website as a forum to distribute above photos and displayed the Miss Nigeria  Ireland name

at the top of the website.   This is an intolerable act as a Miss Nigeria Ireland beauty queen.

Did the issues end here? The answer is in the negative. You dyed your hair blond against my

advice and orders that you revert it back to black to reflect the culture and traditions that you represent as the MNI queen, you refused and carried on with impunity. It is disappointing that you

came into this organisation with the full knowledge of the rules and regulations and has decided

to rubbish the organisation in such a way, in a bid to cast us in bad light.

You have been taking pictures for some time now that totally contradicts the beliefs of the organisation, photos that ridicules the role model image you are suppose to project. Certainly, this is

not the altitude of a beauty queen, and we make bold to say that the implication of this action is

grave and misleading to the public at large.

We are not unaware of your public instigation of your friends and Nigerians to help  you in forcing the management of the Miss Nigeria  Ireland Organisation which you represent  into agreeing

and submitting to your  despicable fashion style and image

It is regrettable that you could carry the internal matters of the organisation you claim to represent to the public domain (Facebook) for discussion.

In the light of your gross violation of the rules and regulations of the Miss Nigeria Ireland, we

hereby give notice of the revocation of your title as the Miss Nigeria Ireland 2012, effective from

today.

Please return to us any pageant property that may be in your possession, including the Sash and

the Crown.

Yours Sincerely,

Peter Oghina

For Perod Foundation and Miss Nigeria Ireland.

PETER OGHINA <missnigeriaireland@gmail.com> 4:35 PM (3 hours ago)

Our attention has been drawn to the claim by Patricia Olufemi that she resigned as Miss Nigeria Ireland 2012. I would like to put the record straight, she did not resign, she was sacked. Below is the text message I sent to her on her Facebook message box and the Miss Nigeria Ireland email account at 7.23pm:

Dear Patricia,
Please find enclosed a letter of revocation of your title and crown, as Miss Nigeria Ireland 2012, stating from today.
I wish you the very best of luck on your future endeavour,

Patricia Olufemi
Good evening sir,
Thanks for the email. I posted out my resignation letter today. It is evident you have not received it. I sent it via post as i could not attach my my signature to the online version. I do apologise for any damage I have caused and wish the Miss Nigeria Ireland organisation the very best in the future. I took the sash to the dry cleaners as i wasn't sure if it was machine washable. I will have both the crown and sash to you by the weekend. Thanks again for the opportunity.

So please do the maths, she posted the video 19 hours ago and she got my sack letter 21 hours ago. Where is the truth? She got the revocation letter 21 hours ago and she posted the video 19 hours ago, this is the truth. Again, it is 4pm now and I still have not gotten any letter from her via post.

According to Perod Foundations, Patricia Olufemi breached some of the rules and regulations that bound her to the crown.

1. Incitement: There was this issue about how she was supposed to wear her hair. During the time Patricia was crowned, she had a low-cut black hair, but her management insisted she wore a wig to all her events. After some time not only did she dye her natural hair to blonde, but she discussed such management issues on her facebook page asking fans to raise their voices in support of her natural hair to let the management know that they prefer her natural hair.

Bernie D'Arcy: Patricia I reckon we should start a vote among Nigerians in ireland about this. I love your natural look

Patricia Olufemi hahahahaa... u have no idea how many times i had to readjust it.. then it kept tickling me.. i think what makes it worse for them is that my short hair is now blonde. but the blonde suits me. ive been modeling way before miss nigeria and its a paying job. my clients have requested i go blonde and it really works for me. i guess the wig is just the only way i can satisfy the management and still be able to have my hair blonde for work

Patricia Olufemi: thanks Penelope Chieme Anyaji Aniuzu but the choice isnt mine. i wear my short hair everyday and i love it to bits. but the Miss Nigeria team claims that my hair doesnt represent nigerians. they have demanded i wear a wig to all my events. i cant do anything about it. its nigerians in ireland that need to raise their voice and let the management know that they prefer my own hair.

Bernie D'Arcy:
Miss Nigeria Ireland is beautiful

Patricia Olufemi is so amazing and beautiful , Please I beg don't hide her natural beauty by making her wear wigs to engagements,

Rules can be broken, Lets break this rule,

Wigs are wonderful creations for sick women and I respect that Nigerian women wear them at time but I ask you please make this an option.

Don't force a woman to wear a wig

What does this Bernie woman want and what is the story with you licking her ranting? What are you trying to prove?

9:38pm

Patricia Olufemi

what am i trying to prove? it is rude for an organisation to ignore a comment or message. liking it shows that we have seen it. it stops her from re posting and re posting. i am trying to prove that we respect and appreciate our followers views even if we are not taking them on board.

she isnt ranting. she is only sharing her point of view. isnt that supposed to be one of the reasons we set up the page?

2. Disobeying Management's order to change her hair to black:

Peter Oghina

Patricia, keeping quite does not make me a fool or a coward, I must beg you, do

not push it. I think it is a high time you went back to your natural black hair

please, and do it between now and the end of the month. When you told me about

going blond, you said it was for some time, the Miss Nigeria Organisation can no

longer afford to have you, Miss Nigeria Ireland 2013, on blond. Please do

something about it between now and end of the month. As for what you are doing

with Bernie, I want to once again beg you to be very careful. Bernie knows how to

reach me, and she has been on to me at different times for different reasons, why

is this different? When the time comes, I will reply her, don't worry about that.

You and Bernie are free to conduct a poll and find out how many Nigerians want

you to go blond.

Dear Patricia, unfortunately, Miss Nigeria Ireland has decided to do without

swimwear because of our people cultural believe and opposition to it. You are aware

of the controversy over this issue, so it is not an issue I should be explaining to you. I

am afraid as Miss Nigeria Ireland 2012, it will not be possible for you to go on swim

wear, it will cause a lot of problem for us. Thanks a lot

5. Demeaning her image as Miss Nigeria Ireland with her irresponsible way of dressing:

There are two sides to every story. Now we have heard Perod Foundation's side of the story. Personally speaking and in all fairness too, every organization has its rules and regulations to be adhered. We are hoping to hear from Patricia Olufemi to know what she has to say about this.

London Attack: Man Savagely Hacked to Death in Suspected 'Terrorist Incident'

Two attackers savagely killed a man believed to be a British soldier just outside an army barracks in an apparent terrorist attack in southeast London today, telling eyewitnesses the killing was "as an eye for an eye ... because Muslims are dying by British soldiers every day."

British Prime Minister David Cameron said there were "strong indications this is a terrorist incident," and senior British officials convened an emergency meeting in Britain's equivalent to the White House Situation Room.

The two attackers hacked the victim to death in broad daylight with large knives in the London neighborhood of Woolwich.

Afterward, they approached eyewitnesses, asking them to start filming with their camera phones. One of the attackers, who spoke with a southern London accent, carried a meat cleaver and his hands were deeply stained with blood as we spoke directly to the camera.

"We swear by almighty Allah, we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone, your people will never be safe," the man said calmly, according to ITV News, which obtained the video.

Just a few minutes later, armed police arrived. The two men rushed the police, according to eyewitnesses, and police opened fire, wounding both of them.

The attackers "went for the police with the machetes, knife and handgun," one eyewitness told the BBC. "I don't think they cared."

The attack echoed a plot from 2008, when a British man pleaded guilty to plotting to kidnap and behead a British soldier. Police believe it was an isolated incident, but the emergency cabinet meeting ordered security to be tightened around the area of the attack, and at other military barracks in London, according to the BBC.

Cameron cut short a visit to France and called the attack "absolutely sickening" and a "most appalling crime."

"People across Britain, people in every community, I believe, will condemn this attack," he said at a news conference in Paris. "We have had these sorts of attacks before in our country and we never buckle in the face of them."

Numerous eyewitnesses emphasized the brutality of the attack.

"These two guys were crazed. They were not there. They were just animals," a man who identified himself as James told local radio station LBC. "They then dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road."

PHOTOS: Soccer Star, Yusuf Ayila’s Wife In Juju Scandal... Husband Finds Charms In Her Wardrobe

The trouble started when I asked her to bring my children for holiday in Ukraine. One day, while I lived with her, I opened Gbemi’s wardrobe in Ukraine and found different charms, including a snake inside a bottle filled with gin.
juju
It was a confirmation of the feelers I got from family and friends that she is fetish and had been using charms on me. I felt uncomfortable living under the same roof with her. In view of this development,
I told her to return to Nigeria, to which she refused. At that point, I told her I can’t cope with her bad habit anymore; that she had to go back to Nigeria or I’ll leave the house for her.
Meanwhile, before seeing the charms in her wardrobe, she’s always been at loggerheads with my mother for no concrete reason. I had to leave the house in Ukraine to get another apartment when she refused to leave.
Yet it never stopped me from paying the house rent, even after my departure to Orduspor, Turkey, my club. I kept paying the children’s school fees and other bills and later discovered that her Visa will expire in a few months’ time.
photoI sent her a mail asking her to leave Ukraine and go back to Nigeria since she hadn’t anything concrete doing and yet again she refused. I sent her another mail threatening to stop paying the rent in Ukraine by the end of April.
When she refused to leave, I sent someone to collect her passport lest she tarnishes my image and career.
I started hearing some unimaginable stories of her escapades with men each time I visited Nigeria, but I kept my cool. She was also reported to be having an affair with a popular Fuji star who also denied the allegation.
She had on several occasions connived with some people to kill me, which I survived by the grace of God. For the records,
I have a recorded phone conversation of that’. According to Ayila, he gives Gbemisola 1 Million Naira as monthly allowance. As for the said mistress, Ayila defended that he’s now legally married to her.
He described the new woman as a very responsible, God fearing lady who is his wife and not a mistress, as claimed by his estranged wife.
