Is D’Banj Dumping Genevieve For IBB’s In-Law?

On several occassions, Nigerian musician Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’Banj has been rumoured to be in sizzling romance with a high class ladies. In time past, the Kokomaster, as he is also fondly called, had been romantically involved with superstar Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji.

Now, there is a romance tale trailing D’Banj with Adama Indimi, who is the younger sister of IBB’s son’s first wife, Muhammed Babangida, Rahama Indimi. She is the daughter of Maiduguri based multi-millionaire, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi.

It is reported that a series of tweets started these speculations. This has raised the question if D’Banj has finally dropped Genevieve for Adama.

On August 13, 2012, Dbanj tweeted, “On my way to Club Icon with Naeto C and the crew! Tonight, we are drinking to celebrate my baby @Presido_Adama (Adama). Happy birthday love!

This was later followed by a tweet on August 27, 2012 when Dbanj performed at a London concert London which read, “You make me do happy.” She now posted some pictures of herself then of D’Banj’s dancers backstage. Soon after, she posted a picture of the two of them together.

On August 29, 2012 she tweeted, “Happy love, happy laugh, happy soul! And afterwards. “You make me do happy!” Hours later, she tweeted, “Mumsi said ‘I like your new Hannah Montana remix’.

According to the Associated Press, Michael Clarke Duncan, the hulking, prolific character actor whose dozens of films included an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in "The Green Mile" and such other box office hits as "Armageddon," "Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda," is dead at age 54, six weeks after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Clarke died on Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fiancée, reality TV personality Rev Omarosa Manigault.

He apparently thought he had figured it all out. A Nigerian mechanic who struggled in Brazil for more than six years had hoped the drugs would buy him a life of luxury in his native land, Nigerian authorities said Monday.

"This was like a retirement plan for him," said Mitchell Ofoyeju, spokesman for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

The accused was arrested over the weekend at the airport in Lagos after he came in from Sao Paolo with 2.6 kilograms (5.7 pounds) of cocaine, Ofoyeju said. Photos from the agency showed egg-shaped packages wrapped in gold aluminum foil and tucked into the browned chickens.

The suspect, Vincent Chegini Chinweuwa, could not immediately be reached for comment as he remained in custody Monday.

Nigeria is a major transit point for drugs coming from Latin America and going to Europe or the United States but recent security improvements are cutting into that dubious distinction.

Hamilton crashed out of the Belgian Grand Prix just seconds in to the race in a dramatic four-car pile-up on the very first corner of the track - but thankfully he walked away unscathed.

The X Factor judge and singer, Nicole Scherzinger could only look on in horror and disbelief as she watched her boyfriend's car propelled in to the air and smash into tiny fragments.

Although initially visibly shaken, Nicole closed her eyes in relief as she watched the 27-year-old sportsman safely walk away from the wreckage of the vehicle.

Prior to the disastrous race - eventually won by Hamilton's McLaren team-mate Jenson Button - both Lewis and Nicole seemed to be in good spirts, posting pictures of themselves together on their respective Twitter pages.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer said: 'In Belgium for the Grand Prix to support my man @LewisHamilton for his race this wkend:).'

And Nicole was on hand to guide her man in the wake of the dramatic crash.

Following the incident, she tweeted: 'We love and support you to the end babe...@LewisHamilton.'

Meanwhile, the Formula One star's was in a more reflective mood as he looked forward to the next Grand Prix in Monza, Italy.

He said: 'Sometimes, bad days are there to remind us that we have good ones to look forward to. So here's to Monza! Onto the next one...'

Photos: Update On Togo Naked Women Protest

 

On August 28 in Togo’s capital Lome, several Togolese women who were partaking in the “Sauvons Le Togo” (“Let’s Save Togo”) protest, dropped their trousers in front of police forces, provoking them to the great amusement of fellow protesters, bystanders and journalists.

The day before, there had been a call on its female members to join a week-long “sex strike”, designed to motivate more men to join them in their fight against President Faure Gnassingbé.

For the moment there is no way of knowing if this appeal to “close their legs”, as local journalists describe it, has been adhered to.

Another demonstration is planned to take place next Thursday, where this time women have been openly invited to undress.

They definitely mean business...hmmm!
