Wearing a garment with the wrong neckline can ruin your entire look. The type of neckline you need depends on: face shape, body type, and bust size.


Type of necklines:

Here are some simple rules that will allow you to choose the most suitable necklines: 

Face Shape:
-People with oval and well proportioned face are able to wear almost any style of neckline successfully.
-If your face is long and narrow, choose necklines that are wider and more shallow, to draw the eye to the horizontal and make your face appear wider.
-On the other hand, if your face is wider and rounder, a neckline that has a stronger vertical shape will help to balance your overall look.
The concept here is balance. You want to choose a neckline style to balance your features and help you look more in proportion.

Body Type:



Following along on the theme of balance, you again want to select a neckline that will balance your overall appearance.
-Women who are average in build should be able to wear most every neckline style with equal ease.
-Large-framed women should look for necklines that stress a more vertical line. Vee necks, scoop necks, sweetheart necklines, Queen Anne and empire necklines can all look good. Even portrait necklines can be flattering as long as the neckline dips sufficiently to provide an elongating effect.
-Small-framed women should look for necklines that will offer a widening effect. The bateau, Sabrina, portrait, crew neck, vee neck and jewel necklines will help to make the narrower build appear wider.

Bust Size:
-Women with moderately-sized busts and average shoulder width should be comfortable with any of the listed neckline styles.
-A small busted woman with narrow shoulders should consider choices like the bateau, Sabrina and portrait necklines, as well as the sweetheart and Queen Anne styles.
-Broad-shouldered and big-busted women should choose styles like the empire, Queen Anne and lower-cut portrait necklines as well as scoop neck, cowl neck and vee neck style.

Sheila Bailey Eubank, San Antonio Woman, Accused Of Faking Own Kidnapping To Skip Work, Get Some Attention

A Texas woman is accused of faking her own abduction because she wanted more attention and a day off from work, according to authorities.

Police in San Antonio found Sheila Baley Eubank, 48, bound by rope in the back seat of her car. Eubank told authorities that an unidentified man kidnapped her at knifepoint as she drove up to an ATM machine. Eubank insisted that the man forced her to chauffer him around the city for apparent drug deals.

The police uncovered a different story.

Thinking it was her lucky day, Eubank in fact spent her time off purchasing a lottery ticket from a gas station. Her fortune was unfavorable, however, as surveillance footage later revealed a "healthy, unhurried and pleasant" Baley withdrawing cash from the ATM and purchasing lottery tickets, the San Antonio Express News reports.

When police showed her the tapes of the Oct. 10 incident, Eubank confessed to fabricating the story, according to the Associated Press. Detectives also found a lottery ticket in her purse, bought at approximately the same time and date when Eubank claimed she was abducted.

Local reports do not specify what Eubank does for a living. She is charged with aggravated perjury.

7 Year Old Boy Swallows Whistle And Squeaks For Weeks (VIDEO)

After Hector Flores, Jr., had been inadvertantly squeaking for weeks, doctors finally removed this toy whistle he had swallowed while at a pool party

For weeks, teachers had been accusing Hector Flores, Jr. of deliberately disrupting the second grade at his Bronx elementary school by squeaking like a toy duck at inappropriate moments.

Until someone blew the whistle on the real problem: He had a toy stuck in his lung.

The whistling noisemaker, which belonged to a rubber duck, got stuck there a month or so ago when Flores was playing in a pool. He started squawking about two weeks ago whenever he laughed.

Hector's mom first noticed the weird whistling noise during a shopping trip, she told WABC-TV.

"I said, 'Did you whistle?' 'Yes mommy I whistled.' A man at the bodega said the boy whistled," his mother, who was not identified by name, told the station.

Hector's parents promptly took him to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, but doctors there claimed his squeaking was in his head and gave him pills for a stomach problem.

"They said he didn't have anything. That it was probably a psychological issue with the child. They concluded the child had a lot of fecal matter," Hector Flores Sr. said, according to KSL.com.

Hector's dad didn't accept the diagnosis. Knowing that a squeaky wheel gets the grease, he made a tape of his son squeaking and squawking.

This time, doctors took the child's dilemma seriously and did a 45-minute operation with an endoscopy where they found the duck whistle stuck in an artery near his lung and removed it, Geobeats reported.

A spokesperson for the hospital said the incidient is under investigation.

This isn't the first case of a child being misdiagnosed after swallowing something bizarre.

Earlier this year, doctors in Utah removed a Lego piece from the nose of 6-year-old Isaak Lasson. It had reportedly been stuck for three years and was responsible for several sinus problems.

SHOCKING: Motorcyclist sells nurse to ritual killers for N10,000

A commercial motorcyclist, identified simply as Ifeanyi, has been arrested for allegedly handing over a nurse, Mrs. Helen Ilonge, to ritual killers after collecting N10, 000.

According to Punch, Ilonge had on Tuesday last week took Ifeanyi’s motorcycle on her way to Igoli along the Ogoja-Ikom Highway in Ogoja LGA.

Ilonge, the coordinator of Primary Health Care in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, was coming from a programme at the Assemblies of God Church, Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, and had alighted from a vehicle at Okpongrinya junction before taking the bike.

It was gathered that Ilonge (51) was beheaded while her other vital reproductive parts such as breast and vagina were removed for ritual purposes.

Ilonge’s neighbour, Mrs. Theresa Idagwu, on Sunday said, “Ifeanyi took the lady from Okpogrinya Junction on the pretence that he was taking her to the village, which is 10 minutes drive from the point. But along the way, he stopped and handed her over to kidnappers at Ukpe.
