Lagos: Police arrest famous Fuji musician, Abass Akande a.k.a. Obesere, for allegedly raping a 29-year-old woman.

Photo: Obesere arrested over alleged rape

Reports have it that Obesere raped 29 yr old Olanike Olaiya at his Okota residence, Lagos. Meanwhile responding to the allegations, the musician insisted the two had consensual sex because they were lovers.

Olaiya, who is a businesswoman, claimed that the celebrity who was introduced to her by one of their common friends, had previously promised to assist her in her business.

However, according to the victim, when she came to his place for a business discussion, Obesere started demanding sex.

According to the woman, she wanted to leave, but he insisted she should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area.

In the middle of the night he reportedly came into the room, where she stayed, and raped Olaiya.

Medical examination showed that the woman had been raped, according to Vanguard.

Obesere on his part claimed the alleged victim was his lover and, moreover, that he asked her to go to a private hospital for treatment when she complained of bleeding.

Case continues...

Pimp who befriended underage teen on BBM before selling her through Facebook and adult websites jailed for 3 years

Pimp: Lee Lambert was jailed for three years for selling a 15-year-old girl on Facebook

A pimp who sold a 15-year-old girl for threesomes and bondage sex sessions was jailed today for three years.

Lee Lambert befriended the underage teen on Blackberry Messenger before selling her through Facebook and adult websites like ‘ukadultzone.’

The 26-year-old created online profiles of the vulnerable girl, touting her under the trading name ‘Holly Swing.’

The girl was sold for as little as £18, with a four hour session with her priced at £168, Liverpool Crown Court heard.

The teen had threesome and bondage sessions with customers at the end of August and September last year.

Twisted Lambert cut an eye-catching figure as he sat in the dock during his trial, with a shaved head, and wearing large sunglasses and a purple-lined blazer with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He also had a nasal feeding tube for medical reasons.

He insisted he was not a ‘pimp’ and instead bizarrely described himself as a ‘pornographer’, explaining how he was cleverly exploiting a legal loophole by filming the sex, which he argued made his activities lawful.

But in a series of text messages talking about his business, he boasted: “Pimping ain’t easy.”

Lambert took a cut of profits every time she slept with one of the clients he arranged to come to the flat and have sex with her.

The sex tout, from Kirkby, Merseyside, created online profiles for the 15-year-old, posting provocative photos to entice potential clients to his business, which he branded “Swinger Escorts”.

Prosecutor Simon Berksson ruled: “This is a simple case of exploitation of a young girl.”

Lambert was found guilty by a jury within just ten minutes of controlling prostitution for gain and keeping a brothel for prostitution with the girl, with whom he established a controlling sexual relationship.

The pimp, who said he did not know the girl was 15, blustered: “The clients are normally direct. They say do I get sex? I say, ‘well if you want sexual contact you need to be producing pornography’.

“It is a legal loophole around the situation. It appeals to both the clients and the legal system.”

A video of the girl showed her being interviewed as her contractual obligations were explained to her, including that she had to get “positive feedback” from her client.

Lambert added: “They would be expected to undertake adult content work (pornography) and standard escort work.”

Lambert has a previous conviction involving indecent images of a 14-year-old girl, for which he was sentenced to two years in 2010.

Jailing him, Judge Thomas Teague QC said: “You pose an ongoing threat to the welfare of young people through your repeated involvement in what is euphemistically called the sex trade.

“I cannot envisage a time in the future when you will not pose such a threat.

“This was the second time in the last four years you have engaged in the exploitation of girls in the so called sex trade.”

Odd Crime...Shopper robbed after she was HYPNOTISED as she stood outside an Aldi in Germany

Police spokeswoman Sandra Mohr said 66 year-old Sarah Alexeyeva believes she was put in a trance "in order to rob her"

Reuters Odd crime: The 66 year-old victim claims two women put her in a trance before robbing her

A pair of hypnotists are being hunted by police after a victim claimed she was put in a trance before being robbed.

Police in Germany are investigating a spate of crimes involving two Russian women who tell their victims they will read their fortune.

In one incident 66 year-old Sarah Alexeyeva told detectives she was spoken to outside an Aldi supermarket in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein.

But the next thing she knew she snapped out of a trance and was sat in her armchair at home.

All her jewellery and valuables had disappeared, police said.

Spokeswoman Sandra Mohr said: "She claims that the pair put her into a trance in order to rob her.

"She had no idea how they did it, one minute she was being promised the future and the next she knew she was back home."

There are other victims, according to officers, and the suspects are believed to be a woman aged 35-years-old and a larger 55 year-old woman.

"They seem to be able to get the interest of their victims with a promise to see the future," said Mohr.

She added: "But the only future they are promising is to rob their victims.

"They target mostly older women and in particular foreign women, who may feel less secure living in Germany and are more interested as a result in the spiritual promises of the pair."

Oscar Pistorius Trial...A second witness tells court she was awoken by the sounds of a fight early on 14 February 2013....

A second witness at the murder trial of South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has told a court in the capital Pretoria she was awoken by the sounds of a fight early on 14 February 2013.

Mr Pistorius has pleaded not guilty to intentionally killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

He shot dead the 29-year-old model and reality TV star at his home, saying he mistook her for an intruder.

Estelle Van Der Merwe, a neighbour, said the row had lasted about an hour.

"It seemed like somebody was involved in a fight," said Ms Van Der Merwe, who lives in the same gated Pretoria housing estate as the Paralympic athlete. "People were talking in loud voices."

The argument woke her at about 01:56 local time (23:56 GMT) and lasted about an hour. After that, she heard four loud sounds in succession.

Ms Van Der Merwe was the second witness to take the stand at the murder trial of Mr Pistorius, which began at the high court in on Monday.

The arrest of the 27-year-old double amputee and gold medal winner astounded South Africa.

'Screams'

For the first time in South Africa, parts of the trial are being televised live, although some witness testimony, including that of Ms Van Der Merwe, is being excluded from TV broadcasts.

However, the audio of the entire trial is being aired.

Mrs Van Der Merwe said she had been irritated by the noise of the argument and placed a pillow on her head "in hope of falling asleep again".

Oscar Pistorius blocks his ears as he concentrates on his notes on the second day of the trial
There is intense media interest in the trial
The country was stunned when the athlete shot dead his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp

Tuesday's hearing adjourned not long after the third witness, Charl Peter Johnson - husband to the first witness Michelle Burger - had taken the stand.

The second day of the trial began with defence lawyer Barry Roux quizzing Ms Burger about her account of hearing a woman's screams, a man calling for help and then four gunshots.

The BBC's Andrew Harding in court says the defence line was clear that as Ms Steenkamp was in a closed toilet with a closed window, the screams the witness said she heard could not have come from her.

Mr Pistorius was in the bathroom where the window was open so the screams must have come from him.

Mr Roux also suggested expert evidence would prove that Ms Steenkamp would have been unable to scream between shots.

When he read out details of the bullets hitting her head, Mr Pistorius's head dropped into his hands, our correspondent says.

At the start of proceedings on Monday, Mr Roux read out a statement from the athlete, giving his version of events of how Ms Steenkamp had died, saying he believed his girlfriend was in bed when he shot at the toilet door.

State prosecutors say Mr Pistorius planned the killing and shot Ms Steenkamp after a row.

If found guilty of premeditated murder, he could face life imprisonment.

He has also denied charges of illegally possessing ammunition.

There are no juries at trials in South Africa, and his fate will ultimately be decided by Judge Thokozile Masipa.

Much of the case will depend on ballistic evidence from the scene of the shooting, correspondents say.

1. Balcony

Mr Pistorius said in his statement at the start of the trial that he woke in the early hours and walked on his stumps to the balcony, pulled in two fans, closed the sliding door and drew curtains. He said that shortly before he had spoken to Reeva, who was in bed beside him.

He said he rejected prosecution claims that a witness heard arguing coming from the house before the shooting.

2. Bathroom noise

Mr Pistorius said he heard the bathroom window sliding open and believed that an intruder, or intruders, had entered the bathroom through the a window which was not fitted with burglar bars.

"Unbeknown to me, Reeva must have gone to the toilet in the bathroom at the time I brought in the fans," he said.

Mr Pistorius said he approached the bathroom armed with his firearm, to defend himself and his girlfriend, believing Ms Steenkamp was still in bed.

3. Shooting

Both sides agree four bullets were fired. Ms Steenkamp was hit three times.

Mr Pistorius said he fired his weapon after hearing a noise in the toilet which he thought was the intruder coming out of the toilet to attack him and Ms Steenkamp.

He said he was in a fearful state, knowing he was on his stumps and unable to run away or properly defend himself.

Mr Pistorius said he rejected claims made by the prosecution that he was on his prosthesis when he shot at the door.

A witness told the trial she woke to hear a woman's screams and a man shouting for help. She said that after the screams she heard four shots.

4. Bedroom

At his bail hearing last year, Mr Pistorius said he went back to the bedroom after shooting at the toilet door, then noticed Ms Steenkamp was not in bed.

Mr Pistorius said he then realised she could have been in the toilet.

5. Toilet door

Mr Pistorius said he went back to the bathroom but the toilet was locked, so he returned to the bedroom, pulled on his prosthetic legs, turned on the lights before bashing in the toilet door with a cricket bat.

6. Emergency calls

Mr Pistorius told his bail hearing he called the manager of his guarded and gated housing complex and a private paramedic service. He then carried Ms Steenkamp downstairs.

Are You A Pear, An Apple Or A Banana?....Check out the workouts to maximize your natural body shape!

“By building up weaker or less developed parts of your body, you’ll maximize your natural shape,” says Laura Mak, owner of Mak Attack Fitness in Marina del Rey, California.
Are You A Pear, An Apple Or A Banana?
First, figure out which body shape best describes yours: a pear (bottom-heavy), an apple (rounder in the middle), or a chili pepper (a narrow frame from head to toe). Then do the basic routine for your type – you’ll need a stability ball and a set of 5 to 8 pound dumbbells. All three body types follow the same basic strength workout, but each will complete a different number of sets and reps.
Workout Frequency: Do the strength routine twice a week; do the recommended cardio three times a week.
The Pear Plan
Pears carry most of their weight below the waist (generally in the hips, thighs and butt areas).
The Pear Goal: To tone/minimize hips, butt and thighs.
The Pear Plan: To balance a heavier lower half, focus on adding muscle definition to your chest, back, and shoulders by lifting heavier weights with fewer repetitions. At the same time, improve lower-body endurance and sculpt your butt and thighs by doing more reps with lighter weights. One of the fastest ways to achieve this is through triple supersets — back-to-back-to-back exercises with three moves for the upper body, three for the lower body, and three for the upper body and core — with no rest between sets. (Take about 30 seconds to rest between series.)
The Pear Workout
Pear Series 1: Bent-Over Dumbbell Row, Lateral-to-Front Dumbbell Raise, Dumbbell Fly on Ball (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use moderate to heavy weights)
Pear Series 2: Lunge with Biceps Curl, Squat and Calf Raise, Rear Leg Lift (4 sets each, 15 to 20 reps; use light to moderate weights)
Pear Series 3: Long-Arm Ball Crunch, Overhead Triceps Extension, Oblique Ball Crunch (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use moderate to heavy weights)
Pear Cardio: Do two moderate to hard steady-paced workouts a week for at least 30 minutes with the cardio of your choice. Use your rate of perceived exertion (RPE), or how difficult the exercise feels on a scale of 1 to 10; try to keep your effort at about a 7 or 8. In addition, do one interval routine (below) each week.
Pear Intervals
Warm up: 5 minutes, RPE 3-4 (easy)
Speed burst: 2 minutes, RPE 8-9 (hard)
Recover: 2 minutes, RPE 5-6 (moderate)
Repeat speed burst/recovery for a total of 5 times
Cool down: 5 minutes, RPE 3-4 (easy)
The Apple Plan
Apples generally carry fat around the waist.
The Apple Goal: Burn flab everywhere, with an emphasis on moves to work your waistline.
The Apple Plan: “Apples need to focus on developing a strong core and building lean muscle in the lower body to help balance the top half,” says Mak. The key is to use lighter weights with more reps for your upper body and heavier ones with fewer reps for your legs and butt.
Do triple series to increase your heart rate and blast fat, and since abdominal fat is particularly stubborn, increase the intensity of your cardio sessions.
The Apple Workout
Apple Series 1: Bent-Over Dumbbell Row, Lateral-to-Front Dumbbell Raise, Dumbbell Fly on Ball (3 sets each, 12 to 15 reps; use moderate weights)
Apple Series 2: Lunge with Biceps Curl, Squat and Calf Raise, Rear Leg Lift (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use moderate to heavy weights)

Apple Series 3:
Long-Arm Ball Crunch, Overhead Triceps Extension, Oblique Ball Crunch (3 sets each, 12 to 15 reps; use moderate weights)

Apple Cardio:
Do at least three 40-minute steady-paced sessions per week. After warming up for 5 minutes, go at a moderate to difficult intensity (RPE of 7 to 9), hard enough that speaking more than a few words at a time is extremely difficult; cool down for 5 minutes at a moderate pace. Lower-body workouts such as using the stairclimber or elliptical machine, walking on an incline, running, or skating will blast fat while also shaping your butt and thighs.
The Banana Plan
Bananas have a narrow shape, with little to no curve.

The Banana Goal:
Create curves by building muscle.
The Banana Plan: Focus on doing fewer reps with heavier resistance to add more lean muscle throughout your body — especially your shoulders, butt, and legs. Because you’ll be using heavier weights, you’ll need more time to rest and recover, so Mak recommends doing series of just two exercises back to back and resting 30 to 60 seconds between each set.

The Banana Workout

Banana Series 1:
Bent-Over Dumbbell Row and Dumbbell Fly on Ball (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use heavy weights)

Banana Series 2:
Lateral-to-Front Dumbbell Raise and Overhead Triceps Extension (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use moderate to heavy weights)

Banana Series 3:
Lunge with Biceps Curl and Squat and Calf Raise (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; use moderate to heavy weights)

Banana Series 4:
Rear Leg Lift and Oblique Ball Crunch (3 sets each, 8 to 12 reps; no weights required)

Banana Cardio:
Focus on the health benefits of aerobic activity rather than calorie blasting by doing three 30-minute workouts at an RPE of 5 to 6. To further strengthen your upper body, try swimming or using the rowing machine or an elliptical trainer with upper-body handles.
The Exercises
Bent-Over Dumbbell Row
Targets back, shoulders, and biceps
Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells with palms facing front of thighs.
Bend forward 45 to 90 degrees at hips, knees slightly bent, head in line with spine and hands in line with shoulders.
Bend elbows 90 degrees and lift weights toward ribs, rotating arms so palms now face each other.
Squeeze shoulder blades together for 1 count, then return to the start position, rotating arms so palms face body.
Long-Arm Ball Crunch
Targets abdominals
• Lie with lower back supported on a stability ball, arms extended over head.
• Contract abs and lift upper back and shoulders forward; lower without shoulders touching ball and repeat.

Lunge with Biceps Curl

Targets biceps, glutes, quads, and hamstrings
• Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, dumbbells next to thighs with palms facing forward.
• Lunge forward with right foot, bending knees 90 degrees; keep right knee aligned over ankle.
• Push through right heel to stand up; as you come up, curl weights toward shoulders.
• Do all given reps on right leg; switch sides and repeat.
Lateral-to-Front Dumbbell Raise
Targets shoulders (front and sides)
• Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells at sides. Keeping elbows slightly bent, raise arms out to sides to shoulder level.
• Keeping arms raised, bring weights in front of body, arms extended. Follow the same path to return arms back to sides, then lower to start position.
Dumbbell Fly on Ball
Targets chest and core
• Lie with head and shoulders supported on a stability ball, holding dumbbells above chest with palms facing each other.
• Keeping elbows slightly bent, lower arms out to sides.
• Contract chest to raise dumbbells back to start position and repeat.
Squat and Calf Raise
Targets glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves
• Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at sides. Squat, bending knees 90 degrees and bringing quads parallel to ground; keep knees behind toes and weight over heels.
• Squeeze glutes and push through heels to stand up, then lift heels and stand on balls of feet. Lower and repeat.
Overhead Triceps Extension
Targets triceps and core
• Lie with head and shoulders supported on a stability ball, holding dumbbells vertically with ends pressed together, arms extended and on a slight diagonal.
• Bend elbows 90 degrees, lowering weights behind head; pause, then straighten arms and repeat.
Rear Leg Lift
Targets glutes and core
• Stand with both hands on a stability ball, shoulders aligned over wrists, legs extended behind you and abs pulled in.
• Lift left leg to hip height, squeezing glutes; lower.
• Repeat for given number of reps, then lift left leg to hip height and pulse up and down about 3 inches for another 15 reps; switch sides.
Oblique Ball Crunch
Targets obliques
• Lie with lower back supported on a stability ball.
• Place left hand behind head and extend right arm across body toward left leg.
• Crunch up, reaching right hand to outside of left knee.
• Lower and repeat for given number of reps; switch sides.
