Jungle justice in Chile as alleged thief is stripped naked and tied to a lamp post with clingfilm

Crowds gathered round 32-year-old Valentino Abeyta Barrera as he was stripped, had his underpants pulled down, and was tied to a lamp post with a cling film.
Valentino was allegedly caught by vigilantes as he was trying to rob a an old man by holding a knife to his throat.

Police arrived after 20 minutes and he was taken to the police station' but he refused to file a complaint, and police said they had been forced to let him go because the alleged victim of the man's attack had also not made a complaint.
A police spokesman said: "Unless the man who was tied to the lamppost or his alleged victim want to file a complaint, there is not much we can do."

Multiple explosions tore through the central mosque in Kano, Nigeria's second-largest city today.
At least 81 people were killed in the bomb attack, sources from two hospitals visited by Reuters said. Police earlier put the figure at 35.

Around 150 others sustained various degrees of injuries in the blasts.

According to witnesses, heavy smoke could be seen billowing in the sky from a long distance away.
Immediately after the blasts, hundreds of angry youths took to the streets to riot, throwing stones and sticks and shouting at security officials.

Former Miss Africa Ireland, Osi Ugonoh emerges the winner of 2014 Poland’s Next Top Model!

20-year-old 5ft 11in model, Osi Ugonoh has been named Poland’s Next Top Model 2014. She is the fourth ever winner of the show.
Osi was born in Gdansk in Poland to Nigerian parents but relocated to Ireland with her family and settled in Dundalk.
She started modelling at the age of 15 and was crowned Miss Africa Ireland in 2012.
