Health Tips For Black Hair

  • Avoid Products Designed For Fine/Limp Hair

  • Use a Moisturizing Shampoo At Least Once a Week

  • Use Satin Scarves & Pillowcases

  • Leave-In Condition, Regular Condition & Deep Condition…Often

  • Look For Products That Describe Your Specific Hair Texture

  • Avoid Mineral Oil

  • Drink Water

  • Use Essential Oils (such as Jojoba, Tea Tree and Sweet Almond)

  • Avoid Products Containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Laureth Sulfate

  • Use Coconut Oil

  • Use Olive Oil

  • Avoid Moisture Leeches (such as wool and excessive sun)

  • Only Apply Hair Relaxer Every 6-8 Weeks

  • Only Color Your Hair At Least Two Weeks After Relaxing It

  • Deep Condition At Least Once A Week & After Any Chemical Service

  • Don’t Overuse Heat Appliances
