Human breast milk facial is the latest beauty trend in the US and could be coming to the UK anytime soon.

According to the owner of Mud Facial Bar in Chicago, the milk can help to soothe conditions such as eczema because of the anti-bacterial properties of lauric acid, found in breast milk, which are reported to fight bacterial infection that causes acne.

'Human breast milk has a lot of antibodies in it that helps fight infection, and since acne is an infection of the skin, that is one that it helps fight,' Spa owner, Patel told Daily Mail Australia.

'Additionally, it helps with sun burn, eczema, wrinkles and making the skin's overall appearance smoother.'

The spa purchases the milk from a local certified milk bank, where the donors are screened, though asked if mothers could use their own breast milk for their facial, Patel said that 'if mothers want to use their own milk, I don't see why we can't meet that request.'

22 killed and 50 injured in Tunisia hostage shootout

TUNIS (The Tunis Times) – Two disguised gunmen infiltrated security at Bardo Museum, a landmark institution at the heart of Tunisia’s capital Wed March, 18th. The attackers took and killed 22 hostages of different nationalities (Tunisian, French, Italian, Polish, Japanese) according to a statement made by Mr. Mohamed Ali Aroui, the spokesman of the ministry of interior. 50 people were injured as a result of the bloody attacks.

P.M. Mr. Habib Essid and President Mr. Beji Caid Essesbi joined the crisis-cell formed on the grounds of the attacks in Kasbah palace before heading to Charles Nicole hospital to visit the injured victims.

“This is catastrophic for Tunisia,” said Mr. Bej Caid Essebsi, “We need to stop those kind of people [referring to terrorists] for good.” added Mr. Esessbi.

The president of the Republic, Mr. Beji Caid Essesbi, is set to address the Tunisian people on the attacks today.

The European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini blamed “terrorist organizations” for the attacks.

“With the attack that has struck Tunis today, the terrorist organizations are once again targeting the countries and peoples of the Mediterranean region,” Mogherini said in a statement which The Tunis Times obtained a copy of.

Mum who 'chatted on Facebook while driving' moments before car crash which killed three kids, now facing three charges

34 year old Kari Milberg was driving her daughter, her son, her niece and another child in December 2013 when she lost control and crashed into a truck.
Milberg was thrown out of the vehicle, while her 11-year-old daughter Lydia died at the scene.
Her five-year-old niece Clara Pavek died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital while the other child in the vehicle, Laynie Jo Amos, five, died of injuries in the days following the crash.
Her three-year-old son Easton, survived the horrific crash.

Investigators found that she was sending messages on facebook moments to the crash, she sent her last message at 3.39pm, just two minutes before the crash.
Milberg is due to appear in court on March 16.

An Iranian man, identified as Hamid S., who permanently disfigured another in an acid attack has had his eye gouged out as punishment.

Hamid S., poured acid over victim Davoud Roshanaei in 2005, causing his victim to lose an eye and an ear.

An Iranian court sentenced him to qesas, 'retribution in kind' and he has now had his eye and ear surgically removed at a prison in Karaj.


According to reports by Iranian newspaper Hamshahri, the man had been hired by the relatives of his victim’s wife.

The blinding of his right eye was postponed until a later date. He was also ordered to pay “blood money” (diyah) and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Tsarnaev lawyer admits his guilt as trial begins for the Boston Bombings

The trial of 21 year old man, Tsarnaev, accused of bombing the Boston Marathon two years ago has begun.

Tsarnaev could face the death penalty and is charged with more than 30 counts relating to the bombings.
His attorney, Judy Clarke,  began her opening remarks today by saying: "It was him."

She said that her team would not attempt to "sidestep" Mr Tsarnaev's guilt in carrying out the "senseless, horribly misguided acts carried out by two brothers".

Instead, she will argue that his elder brother, Tamerlan, masterminded the plot and coerced the younger sibling, Tsarnaev into participating.



After the lawyers concluded their opening statements, several witnesses were brought before the jury to testify.

The jurors were also shown a video of one of the explosions. It showed a huge blast of smoke, and several police officers running to the scene.

Mr Tsarnaev is also accused of killing a police officer days after the bombing.

Many victims of the bombings attended the first day of the trial.

In 2008 she told police she accidentally killed her nephew Eliseo  by rolling on top of him but autopsy showed the boy had died from multiple injuries to his skull. Her sister Jamie later confessed to the crime and was sentenced to 15 years.

After that, Mayra then decided to turn her life around. She has been shedding hundreds of pounds, Houston surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan said......

'No baby drama for me'....Karrueche Tran dumps Chris Brown on Twitter after revelations he's fathered a 9 month old baby

After reports emerged on Tuesday that Karrueche Tran's on-off boyfriend Chris Brown had fathered a 9 month old child with another woman, the 26-year-old dumped the singer via Twitter, writing: 'Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me'.

It is unclear if Chris Brown was on a break during his on and off relationship with Karrueche when he allegedly fathered the nine-month-old child.

Urgent appeal for cancer treatment funds

Nkiru Mirriam Monyei was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2013. She is a mother of 3 children and is determined more than ever to kick out this dreadful illness. What happened?
It all started with a routine Mammogram and Biopsy in December 2013. When the results came back, I was told by the Doctors that I had Carcinoma on my right breast. Further tests also revealed that I have Diabetes. I then thought of my husband and my 3 little children who I live for and knew we had to crush this breast cancer. The Doctors told me that I would need surgery, series of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, complementary therapies, and adjuvant treatments.

Since the initial diagnosis and consultation in December 2013 and Surgery in April 2014, we have poured all our financial resources into kicking this ugly cancer to the curb. We have completely run out of funds needed for the full treatment plan and we are no where near completing any of the mandatory treatments required for me to get well.

Never did we imagine being faced with this kind of circumstance, let alone having to reach out to you for help. I would like to focus on my health and maintain a positive attitude rather than the mounting medical expenses.  We have set up this page with the hope that friends and family, both near and far, will be able to help relieve some of the financial strain.  These donations will be used to cover cost of care, daily survival and those unexpected expenses.

Dress resembling Lupita Nyong'o's missing dress found in same hotel

A white dress that strongly resembles the custom gown stolen from Lupita Nyong’o’s hotel room earlier this week was found Friday under a bathroom sink in the same hotel, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s official said.
The dress found at a West Hollywood hotel “greatly resembles” the pearl-adorned Calvin Klein Collection by Francisco Costa dress the actress wore to Sunday’s Academy Awards, sheriff’s spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said.
The gown is valued at $150,000 but some reports suggest ‘pearls’ may be fake, causing the thief to abandon the dress.
Detectives were trying to verify whether the recovered dress is the same one Nyong’o wore, she said.


In a statement to Women’s Wear Daily, Costa said everyone at Calvin Klein was thrilled to learn that the dress may have been found.
“Once it’s returned to us, we will be able to have the dress restored and archived, as it now represents an important moment for the brand,” Costa said in his statement.

Detectives found it in a black garment bag stashed underneath the bathroom counter.

His wife Susan Bay Nimoy and son Adam confirmed he passed away at his Bel Air, Los Angeles, home on Friday morning.

73 year old Turgut Oymen, a farmer from Sivas Suşehri in Turkey, received a heart-breaking phone call from his 70 year old wife, Nese who had been staying in Istanbul for the past year for treatment for an injury to her foot.

Nese told her husband that she was leaving him for a  55-year-old doctor who she had met and fallen in love and was not returning home.

According to Haber 3, Turgut then went to a nearby river, Derebağ creek and chopped his penis himself, flinging it into the water before calling an ambulance.

He told doctors he castrated himself because “he felt it (his penis) was useless and he felt like he was no longer a man."

He  is currently being treated for depression.

Tanzania bans explicit dance which involves extreme shaking of bum and sometimes stripping

Kigodoro, a Tanzanian traditional dance which involves women exuberantly shaking their bodies, and, in recent years for some performers, stripping completely naked, has been banned in Tanzania.

Police cracking down on Kigodoro dances performed in weddings and social gatherings say they attract muggers and criminal gangs, thereby putting attendees at risk.

The Director of Culture Development in the ministry of information, youth, culture and sport, Prof Herman Mwansoko says the government through Baraza la Sanaa Tanzania (BASATA) has declared such dances as illegal and that practicing them is violating the law.

“This has become a serious danger to our culture as it threatens the original dances which are our identity. The new generation will be filled with what they see now and may not be aware that there has been a real Baikoko for instance,” he says.

He adds that as the ministry, they record the original versions of all the traditional dances and keep them in the archive for future generations. He however warns that whoever participates in such dances in public will be held accountable.

Not less than 8 killed after gun man opens fire in a Czech restaurant

A gunman today, burst into Druzba restaurant in the Czech Republic and opened fire, killing at least eight people before shooting himself dead, officials say.

The restaurant's owner, Pavel Karlik, said the attacker had walked in to the property and started firing a handgun. 

"I immediately ran out through the back door, along with other guests who then called an ambulance and police," he said.

The gunman, described by a local to be in his 60s, had called a national television station before he started the attack.

Some 20 people were thought to have been in the restaurant at the time. It happened around lunch time.
