Brand creates new line of stain resistant white jeans which repels coffee, oil, soda and even red wine

The brand called Joe's Jeans has created a new line of stain resistant white denim, appropriately named Play Dirty, Stay Spotless which repels coffee, oil, soda and even red wine.
'This stay-true hue will repel spills, no matter what surprises your day brings,' the brand explains.

According to Joe's Jeans, the expected longevity of the Spotless treatment is approximately 20 home washes using a mild liquid detergent and a normal wash cycle with low tumble dry settings.
Intrigued and dubious in equal parts, the FEMAIL team took the white jeans for a test drive to see if they could really live up to their claims.
And after pouring a 16oz cup of black coffee onto both the left and right sides of the jeans, the liquid slipped right off the denim, leaving them completely bone dry.
The Play Dirty, Stay Spotless denim line ranges from $145 for jean shorts to $189 for an office-appropriate trouser style

While a residual light brown mark was left behind, a quick wipe with a napkin saw any coffee left behind disappear.
'It is literally magic,' smiled FEMAIL writer Annabel Maud in suspended disbelief.
However, the denim line, which ranges from $145 for jean shorts to $189 for an office-appropriate trouser style, does come with a disclaimer: The garment will not repel pigment-based colour stains such as lip gloss, makeup, nail polish and paint.

'While some staining may occur with liquids containing colour, these stains can be removed easily when dry cleaned,' the company adds.
Made from ProModal, a denim fibre blend known for its softness and functionality, and cotton, the jeans have a subtle stretch to them for added comfort. And the Spotless treatment surprisingly does not make the jeans look or feel waxy.
Basically, you can be as reckless as you want and still look respectable - for 20 washes.
