Parents from Nethersole Primary School in Warwickshire decided to bare all for a calendar that will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sarah Dawes was looked after by the charity in her final days before she lost her battle with cancer in September this year, just two weeks after her wedding to husband Mark.

She left behind a son, Tristan, who is a pupil at the school and one of the brave participants in the naked shoot, Lisa Ward, admitted she was moved to take part after hearing his story.

"To see that little boy at the school gates and to know his mummy will not be there when he goes home is what inspired us to do this," she told the Birmingham Mail.

Lisa admits that while the photos have a meaningful motive behind them, baring all was actually quite good fun.

"While there’s a very serious side to it, posing for the calendar was fun," she added. "I'd say the pictures are cheeky and suggestive, yet tasteful."

The calendar features eight mums from the school and has already sold 700 of the 2000 copies that were originally printed.
